Beast Cleave - enh/bm/pal

Started playing this comp last night, and looking to push it to 2200. We started at 2k, topped out at 2.1k, but I'm sure we'll hit 2.2k sometime soon when we play again.

Anyway, interested in your strats against common comps

some we had trouble with

pal/feral/war
we get on feral, he usually goes bear, and we just sit on him. shears on their paladin, hammers on their paladin, trap is usually slow to kite i think, but it seems like after my hammer / silence are down, their paladin gets full heals rolling, their druid goes feral, and they smoke our enh shaman, with minor cc on me, which always seems to be enough. instant cyclone or a hammer and it seems like he can gib in the global of bubble

pal/war/feral
been getting on the dk, but the smart ones go frost, and it turns out like the druid. we beat into him forever and ever, then after ages i usually go oom from the dmg they're doing onto our shaman somehow, or they line up some solid burst / interrupt combo and he gibbs

Dante has a spectacular aura about
Then stop tunneling and do switches. If a feral or DK are forced defensive switch to the warrior, or if the paladin blew bubble to avoid CC, a paladin gib is possible.

I believe on the second team you meant pal/war/DK

Pretty much what dante said, once you force them to defensive, just swap targets, they dont do as much damage when they're defensive and if you can keep both in defensive you'll be able to save more mana cause you wont need has much healing.

Vs ferals teams, even if you're on the warrior helps loads if your focus purging the predatory swiftness on the feral so he cant use instant cyclones/heals, and have your hunter focus tranq shot him every CD to get rid of savage roar reducing ferals damage by a ton.

Once you can get the feral into bear go warr if warr goes Defensive go back to feral you can swap to pally as well to force bubble or after bubble use to try a kill.

On DK/warr teams, make sure the shaman always saves shamanistic rage for the BS have the hunter save disengage as well when BS its out of the CD(even if he gets DG back the 1-2secs out of it should help).

Also from what I read looks like ur playing protholy, holy is better for this comp imo.
Hope it helped

I do play holy, don't ever intend on playing anything but.

Any exp'ed pal/enh/hunt teams have comments?

I guess we were fearing beast, but I guess only 2/5 landed, due to druid switching..but i'd assume fearing him while we aren't targetting him is the idea, however, if he's good, ez to switch..or if we're on him, it'll break anyway, and I doubt he'd be dumb enough to switch caster

How about RMP, it's pretty much just shit on the mage full time right? shears on healer, and just eventually crash his party when their healer runs out of outs vs shear/hammer?

how often and against what do you use slow trap vs freezing trap?

it seems like we've been primarily using slow trap, which i think is good, like..to slow a rogue down or so, and get more up time on a target, but would scatter/trapping get us a quicker kill?

typically speaking, should it go something like shear / trap / hoj / shear hopefully to put out immense pressure? Right now our cord is just a bit sloppy on calls, i'll call my hojs, and usually throw them out in the beginning just to try to create pressure..but should we save it?

Dunno, sometimes it just seems like we're very slow at gaining momentum, and we usually lose on those games. For instance - somehow one of us gets sapped, wether it be me or the shaman, this screws things up, usually forcing a trinket on me, if they gang bang the sham shortly after, or on him, it's like there's no pressure, no lust, no wolves, and i'm getting cc'ed and we can possibly lose the hunter before the shams sap falls off, or if he trinkets to blind, same rules apply.

this is probably why in that tournament back a couple months ago, they were just popping wolves right at the start, to get into combat? do wolves work like dk pet, once targeted, shaman goes into combat? should hunter be just dismounting / sprinting pet in? it'd seem like with 40+ yard range we should be able to get into combat before a sap comes out, but sometimes it just doesn't work. Although, he can beast out of it, so it's usually fine if they sap him anyway

--

any tips on other common comps?

we had some issues with moonkins / warlock seduce too..think we're just targetting down succis straight away now. Anytime a moonkin isn't focussed, it's like we're taking massive cc up the ass while massive pressure is out. Think we came across moonkin/dru/warlock, and dru/moonkin/ele last night that was causing problems

vs rmp find the pillar you're setting up camp, the hunter flares and drops all 3 traps u sit in the dead center of flare.. the hunter then runs around the circumference of the flare with pet on aggressive and track hidden on, he cant be screwed as you can tbw out of sap if need be and if he gets sapped the pet on aggressive will bring the rogue out, if you ever lose to rmp due to sap find a new hunter, you train the warrior to prevent ms from staying up in almost any 2 melee set up, pop all your big offensive cds early, if you're trying to use finesse in wotlk as beast cleave.. you're doing it wrong and finally shears aren't on set targets (there shouldnt be a "always shear priest) if the your team is about to get a kill shear heals, if someone on your team is about to die shear dmg
