Don't do power cleans unless you want to join a competition and don't listen to music. Music just distracts you, focus on your lift.

edit: maybe you hurt your hand cuz you were listening to music instead of paying attention to what you were doing kek

Meh, doesn't distract me. Helps me get pumped, I'm pretty good at focusing on the lift at hand. I power clean because it is a great total body workout, and has practical uses. Most lifts people use are for looks only.

I hurt my hand from ignoring an initial pain (sagital band tear), which put more stress my middle finger bone, and other ligaments.

But thank you for all the recommendations!

Not all people are the same, i've been trainning for a good 5 or 6 years and i've found music is one of the things that keeps me going. Not all people get pumped in the same way.

No power cleans? Why? What if hes working out for football? Power clean is a important lift and should be done by anyone who wants to get stronger, it's not just for competitions. For music I would go with a lot of Rise Against, Pain, Skillet throw in a little 50 Cent(His old CDs).
