I think part of the problem with this website is that it's sort of a circle jerk of the top echelon of players. An 1800 player might be able to offer advice to a 1600 team that would help them out immensely, where as a 2800 team might just call them noobs and to tell the to give up.

I think what would make this forum better as a whole is much stricter moderation of anyone making useless posts where the entirety of the post is "lol" or "noob". Those kind of posts are a huge waste of time to read and offer nothing to the community.

But then hey, I'm just a 2000 noob lol so what do I know.

The problem is that AJ only checks team rating, not PR. For example, if Player A has never hit 1500 before but joins a 2400 team and waits for AJ to update his rating, he'll have access

That is also true, but the person with for example 1k rating will have to be one of the only 3 in the team, or he'll have to have played more games than some of the other.

example:

Lock 2500 PR
Druid 2500 PR
Warrior1 2500 PR
Warrior2 1000 PR

in this case Warrior2 wouldnt get posting priveligies, as AJ only counts the 2, 3, or 5 most relevant players in the team.

I suppose that could work, but that would require either the mods to have the best knowledge of all classes, or that the people who report are good enough.
More work for the mods maybe, but it's a solution.

Edit: A warning is most likely better, and if they give X amount of _really_ bad advice they get their posting rights removed, not ban.
For.. X amounts of weeks/months or perhaps until a new gladiator title.

Isn't the 2400 requirement in 2s a bit outdated for this season?

Once you get 2400 you have junkies status for the whole season.

It's kinda silly but w/e I wana post

This is true to an extent. Access doesn't get wiped mid season, so as your ratings fluctuate you keep your access.

However, we've said this a LOT, report posts of people you don't think deserve access or posts that are subpar. Our banning system automatically removes Junkie access from anyone that receives a ban and doesn't grant it again until it's earned.

So use those reports.
