Shadow : Good in TBC, the one of the only competitive hybrid DPS class in every bracket, now about as bad as ret, arguably worse
Ele : Great in 5v5 in TBC, shit otherwise, retardedly good in wotlk (even without set bonus)
Enhance : About as good as Rets in end of TBC, terrible in s5, now excellent (overpowered as beast cleave setup)

So yeah, they've basically found the sweet spot for two specs of two classes ever in the existence of arena (Shadow Priests and Elemental Shamans in TBC)
let's see....how many of those specs have ms.....hmm......this is a tough one

Regardless, I do agree ret is somewhat struggling. Which I agree completely the need for an interrupt. But globaling you without really doing anything to stop you, is still overpowered.

Little offtopic. Paladins are still the most represented class in 2/3/5's

In my opinion the biggest problem with paladins is still massive overscaling of healing spells. Then again hybrids are broken, it's wotlk afterall
ret/rogue/priest hasn't been a strong comp since the nerf of seal of blood. you don't have 2 interrupts/2 snares/spammable cc which makes you weaker than any other melee cleave. Every single other variation of melee cleave has 2 interrupts/snares (except ones involving rets ofc). The reason it even works is because the ret does damage for the rogue through armor and he can dispel his healer. But, who needs cleanse when you don't allow your opponent to cc. if people dropped their ret paladins for some other quality player they would probably shoot up in rating just from that sheer fact.

yes paladins have an absurd amount of representation but it's because of TSG ,PHD, beastcleave all being too strong of comps. absurd damage/peel allows paladins to be the dominant healer because no one can touch them. when the best single target healer is allowed to sit in the back unscathed and drop best heal in the game, they are going to be dominant. oh and the fact they can dispel/freedom aren't too shabby either.

not saying your dumb or anything just merely pointing out things.

I'm just speaking from what I've seen.

Your 1.9k rating tells everything. You probably can face 1.5k mmr newbies and you call them a game. Please leave.

ret rogue priest is mediocre at best, very inconsistent comp and you literally need to spam games to get anywhere in ratings. Even fuzionn's team has a ~67% win ratio, and they have at least 250 games played if not, more, look at other teams and they have a lot less with a better ratio.

It's just not a consistent comp anymore. Rogues get crapped on and ret damage by itself isn't anything spectacular.

the large paladin representation you see is from holy paladins. I finally gave up and started playing holy this season, frankly it's just not worth the time to beat my head into a wall to break 2400 when every other comp that a holy pally can play is top 10 viable.
