Update: Titles have now been fixed. Enjoy your mounts.

We now have Blizzard confirming there was an issue. The official blue post can be found below. Please keep in mind the calculator is just an estimation tool but we really have no way of validating any of the information. Don't get your hopes up if you were very close to the cutoff.

I'll keep this thread updating as more information comes in.

Official Blizzard Quote:

We are aware of an issue related to the application of Arena titles and rewards with the end of the Arena Season 4, resulting in some titles and rewards being assigned incorrectly. We are currently investigating this issue and hope to have a full resolution made available very soon. Please note that our Support department will not be able to review cases on an individual basis for the moment.

We would like to thank all players who have reported this issue; this information has proved very helpful in tracking down the cause. We will update you on this matter as soon as more information is available.

We apologize for any confusion this situation may have caused. Thank you for your assistance and continued patience.

We added a new field to your profile that will be used to customize your post bit and help us keep up with updates appropriate. If you are no longer actively playing WoW and don't want extremely out of date ratings/spec showing up when you post, please select Inactive from your user profile fields to hide them. You will have the ability to toggle this at any time as we all tend to quit and start playing again. Here is the link to edit it: http://www.arenajunk...?do=editprofile

This field will also show up for users who are not found on the armory after multiple attempts. This can happen if you input your information incorrectly at registration or have changed your name or server without posting a name change request. If you have transferred or changed your name, please post a request to be updated here: http://www.arenajunk...isplay.php?f=62 Back to Top

For those interested in even more Live Arena action this weekend there is  another tournament being broadcast live from Korea, right now! It started at 11:00 PM EST Saturday night. GOMTV is hosting the event and will have 1v1 and 3v3 matches with all the commentary in English. It should be an exciting event and certainly makes for an action packed arena tournament weekend.

Discussion should be kept in this thread.

Dell-Intel “The Named Season 1: World of Warcraft” presented by GOMTV and sponsored by Dell and Intel will start on Oct.11

Last May and June, “The Named” recorded over 4,000,000 viewers in total; 220,000 viewers for each game during the pre-season. Dell-Intel “The Named Season 1: World of Warcraft” comes back with more exciting match-ups as it will be the last tournament for “The Burning Crusade” due to “The Wrath of the Lich King” being released on Nov.18

Dell-Intel “The Named Season 1: World of Warcraft” is a ro16 full tournament featuring the top two finalist teams from the pre-season, the 2008 World of Warcraft Arena Tournament Korea team and the top 9 teams of each Korean battlegroup.

The first day of the tournament will feature the first placed team of the 2008 World of Warcraft Arena Tournament Korea: “Orange Marmalade” while the humorous and well known player, “Deserteagle” and new teammate, “Hyanggiyojung” will play against “noneunheukma” and “Superspy.” There has been lots of speculation as to how “Deserteagle” will do with “Hyanggiyojung” this season, being that she was the only female player in the pre-season.

Moreover, for day 2 of the tournament, the 2nd and 3rd placed teams of the 2008 World of Warcraft Arena Tournament Korea “Hyoga” and “Chaos Angel” will by playing against each other so you can anticipate some high-quality matches right at the beginning of the season.
This time also, we will have 11 different team combinations in the 3v3 tournament, instead of the common Rogue-Mage-Priest combo we saw in the Pre-season.

This tournament will present not only 1v1 matches but 3v3 team matches as well. Blizzard Entertainment has offered arena servers especially for this tournament only. Sets 1 and 3 will be 1v1 matches while sets 2, 4 and 5 will be 3v3 team matches. Arena rules are the basic rules of this tournament. The winner will receive (approx) $10,000 USD while 2nd place will take home (approx) $5000 USD.

You can find the stream here: http://www.gomtv.net/nameds1/live/. Information for viewing the live stream can be found on this page as well.

Enjoy. Back to Top
