We just went ahead and did the access reset for this season. Just to be clear, anyone who has not achieved Gladiator title at some point will lose their access until it is re-earned this season. If your profile is missing titles that you have earned, please PM me for further investigation.

Also, we adjusted the rating requirements once more for this season. We will continue to keep an eye on them throughout the season and adjust them as we see fit. They are as follows.
2v2: 2400+
3v3: 2200+
5v5: 2000+

In addition, due to some increased trolling as of late, we are making our infraction policy a bit more strict. Infractions will now remain in effect for three months instead of just one so repeat offenders will not be able to game the system as much. We have also moved down to two warnings instead of three before the temporary bans start. We encourage everyone to continue to use the report system to help us moderate the forums.

While we understand people are frustrated with the game at the moment, we are going to take a hard stance against trolling to keep things from getting out of hand. Back to Top

First of all, congratulations to all of you who made gladiator. Sorry to those of you who made deadly duelist =/

We're currently finishing up updates on our userbase for gladiator titles and as you can see they should be displaying. If yours has not shown up yet, please give it another day or so before asking for a fix.

As is our policy, we will be doing a reset of access for all non-gladiators(s1, s2, s3, s4, or s5) as soon as we feel that the armory has sufficiently updated. Expect this to happen within the next few days.

Moving forward, we are changing the access restrictions again to hopefully stay in line with where the title cutoffs will be in the future. We believe the following should be fair without being overly restrictive.
2v2: 2300
3v3: 2200
5v5: 2100

Feel free to post your thoughts on why those should be higher/lower. Please keep in mind that we want something that isn't perfect but is close enough and can be used as a general rule without bias for class, bg, etc.

Also, I'll be posting the gladiator breakdowns around the same time we do the access wipe. Cheers. Back to Top

Arena Season 6 came along with Patch 3.1 today.

You can expect a post from us in the next week regarding your S5 titles and access requirements moving forward

As a reminder, as we start 3.1 we're going to need your new builds and strategies as they develop. So if you have something you think should be in our official content sections, please let us know by posting in the appropriate Content Feedback Forum.

Good luck to everyone this season!

Here is the blue reminder about the changes that have been implemented for this season as well as the gear list:

Official Blizzard Quote:

Arena Season 6 has now officially begun, and players can immediately begin competing for the new Furious Gladiator PvP item sets. We have reset all Arena team ratings, Arena points, and personal ratings though players retain their honor points and matchmaking rating going into this season. Some new changes are being made in this season as well:

    * All teams at the start of the season and all new teams created during the season will now start at 0 team and 0 personal rating instead of 1500.
    * In order to get teams boosted up more quickly from their 0 starting rating, whenever a team’s rating is below the lesser of 1300 rating or their matchmaking rating minus 200, they will receive extra points for a win but won’t lose more on a loss. The amount of extra points will taper off as the ratings reach these values.
    * Team matchmaking ratings will now be shown on the score box after a rated match is completed.
    * When a player joins an existing team, their personal rating will start out equal to the team rating up to a maximum of 1000.
    * We have recalibrated the ratings required to purchase items and many now have lower requirements compared to season 5.

Also, to coincide with the launch of Arena Season 6, players who were on the top teams from each battlegroup at the end of season 5 should be receiving their end-of-season rewards today. These include Arena-specific titles until the end of the new season, and for players that have earned the rank of gladiator, a Deadly Gladiator’s Frostwyrm.
