Skill Capped - How to CC as a Mage in WMD

Skill Capped recently released a YouTube video on Mage CC. If you're new to playing Mage, this video could be quite helpful as it explains how to make it easier for you to start CC chains even if you're under pressure.

For veteran players, Skill Capped is also looking for players like Proffset to be interviewed for videos. If you're interested in being interviewed for videos, you can click on this link to apply.

It was discovered in TBC that jumping wouldn't update your position in the world when it came to using abilities until you landed. You could therefor potentially make it harder for rogues to get positional req moves on you.

Looks really good. Nice helpful video for players just starting with PvP or simply struggling to improve.

I remember when you could get a warning for even saying "skill-capped" on this site.

Jumping and Howling/Screaming registers both your previous, grounded location, and your current airborne one, at least it did -> leads to Howl/Scream having a larger hitbox. No idea if this got fixed, I still hit most of my multiple target fears by using this method so it's either placebo effect or it still works.

Outside of that, jumping just makes the game feel more fun. If this MMO didn't have jump, it'd be infinitely less fun.

AJ back then was ran by Tyveris, and afterwards Rapture. Since then, they've stepped down, and the site was sold, and I don't blame Tyveris at all, guy created the site while BG9 was still a thing and WoM was going strong, and sold it in the waning days of oldschool players, long after he quit - and made quite a bit of buck. I doubt it current AJ generates 1/10th of the revenue old site did, quite a bad investment on Curse's part.

I'm not against jumping. I'm not against jumpers. It's just when every-"pro"-player does it, it makes one wonder if it adds up to a skill. I've started studying the pattern between good jumpers and their current rating, and bad jumpers and their rating. To my surprise I found that good jumpers, have, on average, higher rating (or I don't know what you call it this days, cp or w.e.).
