5.4.7 PTR Patch Notes - PvP

World of Warcraft Patch 5.4.7 PTR

Creatures

Celestials now drop Season 15 Prideful Gladiator gear in place of Season 14 Grievous Gladiator gear.
Rare spawns in Krasarang Wilds now award Honor Points only when they are defeated for the first time each day.

PvP

Base Resilience for level-90 players is now 77% (up from 72%). Base Resilience for players below level 90 remain at 40%.
Resilience Diminishing Returns curve for Resilience has been adjusted for the new base resilience value to maintain the same value per point of Resilience as previously.
Battle Fatigue now reduces healing received while in PvP combat by 65% (up from 55%).

Battlegrounds and Arenas

Arenas
Dampening is now applied to an Arena match starting at the 5 minute mark (down from 10 minutes).
Alterac Valley
The following NPCs now have more health and deal more damage.
Alliance: Vanndar Stormpike, Balinda Stonehearth, Stormpike Defenders, Stormpike Bowman
Horde: Captain Galvangar, Drek'thar, Frostwolf Guardian, Frostwolf Bowman
The following NPCs are now immune to disarm, daze, and Death Grip.
Alliance: Vanndar Stormpike, Balinda Stonehearth
Horde: Captain Galvangar, Drek'thar

they're making this game way more complicated than it needs to be. their definition of "rewarding" being to jump 28 item levels every season aka giving the players about 28% more stats, is fucked up... you're basically losing by default if you're starting late in a season now. -.-

Believe it or not, but people play BGs for fun sometimes. Especially GUUUUUUUUURL gamers. But yes, not the changes arena players was hoping for.

They've increased them from season to season since the start of MoP and arena has actually gotten worse and worse...hrm..

They have realized it but they're not doing anything about it until WoD because it requires too much of an overhaul.

I know right? This will actually hurt arena participation a lot i think. I could understand if it wasn't so late in the expansion .. and it definitely needs changed when WoD comes out, but now is a bad time to change it. It's the only way I can stand gearing new characters.

Gearing through bgs wouldn't be so bad if they allowed ally vs ally, ally vs, horde, and horde vs horde in random bgs just like how rbgs are. That would take care of the ally vs horde win ration imbalance.

I don't really care for how they assume healing scales just as good, or better than damage. Healing in this game is already a selfless chore, and it gets harder (as apposed to easier for damage classes) every season.  Meleecleaves become more and more brutal, instant CC becomes more powerful.  Comps that are already difficult simply because of their high burst potential (rogue/mage) get more powerful.

Healers just need to bend over and take it. It's not like we are trying to enjoy the game too...

Oh wait.
