If only I cared about a laughable rodent who deleted his character off his profile and thinks I don't know it is him, Abolisheddoser.

I really interested to see how many people join up, and which classes will be the most popular *wink* *wink*

"All players need to be in guild in order to participate" means only one faction is allowed?

While the tourney is nice and money is good I don't understand why it has to be: "you need to have at least 2450 current rating, people with rank 1 titles can also apply"

I understand that it's made so that you don't waste time on low rated players, but shouldn't there be a way for some non"famous" people to participate in this tourney or any tourney for that matter? To me it seems that you pass your money from one person to the next. It's called money laundering if you want to call it that way. Casinos are doing the same thing when they want to launder illegal money and make them  seem legit.

If you made it possible for others to clalify, then perhaps people would buy and sub for world of warcraft. You'd have a bigger audience, more money overall.
Please use an appropriate signature; thanks! Use only common abbreviations and acronyms, and then give their definition as soon after their first use as possible. Occasionally, however, an abbreviation or acronym may be so familiar to intended audiences that it may be used without a definition. In fact, some may be more familiar than the full name. http://www.arenajunk...-rules-2272014/

tl;dr make this tournament legit or get 1k views. Make a prequalified tournament to select few teams to randomize the chance for wining, thus attracting more players and views.

peaceout!

I think someone have been watching to much breaking bad lately...relax son, its only a tv show.

Ofc. it needs too be people who are high rated THIS season so you dont get people to play who are not updated with the mechanics and used to play at high level, against high teams. Rating has nothing to do with you being famouse or not so I dont rly see ur point? Take into consideration they're using commentators and admins who spends alot of time on this, it would be a waste on matches which would only last 10 sec.

And about the "sub to wow" thing. These guys are not blizzard employees (correct me if im wrong lol), their job is not to promote the game world of warcraft. Their job is to promote the arena community and tbh I think people would rather see names which they are familiar with and I also think these "famouse names" would attract more viewers...

you do know who is funding this tournament right? the guy that pays people to play with him, pays people to play his characters, pays people to join his guild. I doubt he gives two shits about people buying or subbing for wow, or getting the most viewers possible when the $10,000 prize money equates to throwing spare change at tramps on the street for him

I actually made an appearance at DH2014 and I met up with people from twitch who were involved with the dota 2 / cs tournies that where there, I talked about the game from my perspective as a professional player and we actually shared a lot of opinions. All I'm saying is a lot of people will be VERY surprised about the future of this game in the esport world :)

if he doesn't care about views, then why did he pay to have his tournament advertised on the front page? Go ahead make a tournament for no one to watch. Then why have it streamed and comentated?

the bold bits.

People who aren't well known CAN apply if they are above 2450. Seems fair to me. The only unfortunate bit in my opinion is the guild restriction - there are a lot of good players who can't join the guild simply because they don't play on Outland.

I do get ur point that people needs to migrate, but to be fair this guy have been putting alot of cash into this project for no serious return of investment what so ever. I think its fair if he gets to control the community who participate in winning his money.

no need to buy AJ premium then :) as a matter of fact can I get my money back from last year or w/e year I donated it to and never used it?

no revenue back confuses me, the richer you are the more money you want, it doesn't matter what business it is. There is an intention behind the tourney? He is like what Gas giant? Gazprom? I have stocks from Shell so I can probably buy his company if it wasn't a national treasure and what not.

to continue to distribute money to the people within his guild, to encourage them to stay in the guild etc

you can tell how much people in the guild actually want to be there by how quickly they all left it to join mir once mir started paying more for rank 1 players if they joined exdee

And this pretty much makes it feel pointless to join the guild at all seeing as the people in there are only there to have a chance at grabbing some cash and not actually to talk about anything related to arena.

WMD WMD BATEN WMD WMD WMD WMD, and shits like that, stay fucking small and be happy that at least the people who have money wants to spend it doing a tournament on wow, cos the atmosphere you make here its fucking toxic, honestly i wont ever allow anyone who talk that bullshit to say a single fucking word on a proper post

And why exactly do you think people would not socialize while being in the guild? Thats just random assumptions..
