I think blizzard should focus on getting their sponsorship back.

I think one of the best steps forward to getting wow back on the MLG track would be to baseline all gear inside arena. Meaning, Talents/Glyphs/gems/enchants (maybe pvp trinket choice) would be the ONLY difference between each team.  No "under geared" players.

If you want to switch to another spec of your class, you should be able to do so without penalty to be competitive. I realize that the "Tournament realm" is that, BUT lets be honest, the TR is only used once an expansion for 1 tournament qualification. The only thing between a player and competitive arena should be Level and understanding.

After this happens, i feel balancing of classes would be much easier and way less complex because a mage critting for 60% of your HP would actually mean 60% competitive HP, therefore making it easier to get good looks at each class and make adjustments.

Blizzard needs to focus on keeping the community engaged throughout the whole season. They could introduce weekly tournaments, that payout gold/transmog/titles to the winner. The winners could also get some kind of medal or symbol next to their names when winning/losing an arena.

Rank 1 titles and glad titles should work for the top % of the actual class, not the top teams. Also bring back rank 1/glad for the 2s bracket.

Introduce some sort of wager system when queuing for arenas, where you win more or lose more depending on your choice.

Make an option for your group to Arena Ready, so that you can't just be invited to a group and have the leader instantly queue.

Balance patches for pvp need to come a little quicker...I know that some things need to set in so you can see what kind of outcome they truly have overall, but having to wait a month or longer for a much needed change is just too much...listen to your players!

On the 5.4 PTR it feels like classes do even more damage relative to your HP pool compared to 5.3. And I noticed the same throughout whole cataclysm. An obvious reason are the class changes i.e. not yet used to anticipate correctly / assessing correctly where the damage is coming from.

But another big reason imo is the health pool scaling relative to the damage scaling. a  random (made up) illustration:

- if spell x has a 2.0s cast time in patch 5.0 and eats 20% of someones HP, then due to haste values on higher gear levels the cast will be 1.6s in 5.4, and will eat 25% of someones HP (due to higher int/spellpower). The cast frequency will increase, the frequency of crits and obviously the damage. Resource pool management becomes less of an issue, and so on ... i.e. the incoming amount of damage is a multitude in the latest patch of an expansion compared to the first patch, relative to the HP pools.

My suggestion would be to add a flat HP buff upon entering the arena. A buff that does not stack with any modifiers (foritude/di/c. shout). So both someone with zero gear and a fully geared/buffed player would get exactly the same amount of HP due to this buff. I don't know how much that extra HP amount should be exactly, but if every player in the current season would have 75k to 100k extra health, the game would feel totally different (in a positive way as far as I can see).

Also, please make Hunter pets more manageable. By that I mean allow us to switch pet specs in arena as the difference between ferocity and cunning is pretty major.

Having your pets die is also very annoying, I shouldn't have to use 2 glyphs to try and save my pet form insane wizard cleaves who 1 shot it. If I give up a gylph slot ESPECIALLY 2 to make my pet live, it shouldn't die, simple as that.
