The big thing I see here is being able to chat with bnet friends from outside a game client.

During the slow times of an expansion WoW isn't much more than a glorified AIM chatroom. Now you won't have to log in or even pay for the sub to use it that way.
Bye again! This game isn't fun when you don't know anyone else that still plays.

What do humans know of our pain? We have sung songs of lament since before your ancestors crawled on their bellies from the sea.

Everyone who plays WoW. How many times have you sat in Orgrimmar AFK for 5+ minutes? Why not just log out.

The answer is because you've probably got friends or guildies you're talking too. I've logged in probably hundreds of times just to talk to somebody.

i agree, most of the times ive just logged in to chat with someone or ask a mate for skype cause hes so busy doing nothing in wow.
and outside of arena/rbgs most of us jjust chat with guildies or real ids, or just jump around / standing afk. also i always have wow open in the background cus of que times on outland currently..
