Arena and Rated Battleground Season 12 is scheduled to end on Tuesday, March 5. At that point, we will determine who is eligible for the end-of-season rewards, a process that should take approximately one week. It's very important for players who feel that they may be eligible for Arena titles and/or the Malevolent Gladiator's Cloud Serpent to refrain from transferring their characters to another realm or faction until after Season 12 ends. The awarding of Season 12 titles and mounts will occur approximately 2 weeks after the season ends.
At the end of the season, Conquest Points will be converted to Honor Points and any honor above 4000 will be converted to gold at a rate of 35 silver per point. The honor cap will remain at 4000.
All Season 12 items will cost Honor Points (equivalent to their previous Conquest Point cost) when the season ends, with the exception of any items with rating requirements attached. These items will no longer be available for purchase.

following scenario: i have 4k honor, and 5k cp.when the season ends will the cp convert to gold direct or will i have 9k honor till the next season starts?
i find the "honor cap will reamain 4k" a bit confusing.

Your CP will convert to Honor, then 5k honor will be converted to gold.
Example a:
you have 3k honor, 2k cp, you will have 4k honor and 1k honor will be changed to gold
Example b:
you have 1k honor 2k cp, you will have 3k honor
Example c:
you have 4k honor, 15k cp, you will have 4k honor and 15k will be gold

I'm a holy paladin and I have a few questions that I haven't been able to find answers to.
I have almost full malevolent except bracers, belt and 2x rings.
The ilvl on armor is usually 483, but the MH I use has ilvl 470 and the shield as well. (both Male)
The patch is about the hit in 2-3 weeks and my questions are:
Do I upgrade my Malevolent Gear instead of replacing my Blue PvP-gear with Malevolent?
Do I upgrade my weapon and shield to Max ilvl since I can't get them in the next patch?
Can I buy the Malevolent S12 gear for honor next patch and still Upgrade it to 2/2?
Will the next set of S13-gear be upgradable to 2/2?
See the questions I have? I'd like to go more for ilvl and stats rather than the S13 lower ilvl but with higher PvP Power and Resilience.
The comparison the Blue Posts have made have been with the 2/2 Elite gear, which is higher ilvl than I have now with the Normal Malevolent Gear.
What's best to do in my case?
