The first day of BWC has ended and as a person who was live at the event I have to say it was amazing! The people at Shanghai was extremely excited about WoW and the event as a whole. As a WoW player myself it's encouraging to see an event where there's so many people that truly loves the game. Crowd would scream when people got low in arena and cheer as hard as they can for the winners. Many of the WoW players found fans that recognized them as well.

The World of Warcraft area was completely flooded. The security guards had to constantly push people away. The sides of the stage was filled with people rushing to see the players upclose. There are 2 teams that are already clearly in the top 4 meaning they will be seeded in the Double Elimination Bracket.

For the scoreboard and other information go to this post.
Currently the two North American teams are nearly guaranteed to make it into the top 4. Team "Bring It" is currently 7-0. "Team EG" is also currently undefeated with a 7-0 record. It will be interesting to see these teams fight off in the round-robin as the two undefeated champions.

Third and Fourth place is still up for grabs, with the Korean team "LG-IM" featuring the Mage Lock Shaman ahead at a 6-2 record. The European team "Yaspresents" is also doing well with a 5-1 record. "I'm Just Being Honest" is at 5-2. "LG-IM" will most likely be third as they have already beated "Yaspresents" and "I'm Just Being Honest". Fourth place looks like a fight between the two European teams. "Yaspresents" will likely have to either beat "I'm Just Being Honest" or both the North American teams for fourth place.
Who's going to make it in the final brackets? Who will win it all?
Is 3rd time the charm and "Bring It" featuring Snutz on Warlock going to become the World Champions? This is his third year at the official Blizzard WoW Tournament with 2 years in a row just a hair short of being first place.
Will "Team EG" featuring our 3 veteran sponsored North American players win? Yaspresents has been doing really well after a rocky start, and the Korean LG-IM has had insanely close games against both the North American teams. Maybe a completely other team will dominate today and make it into the top 4 and win?

Added some additional information regarding the two European teams. Looks likely their round-robin match will decide who gets fourth place (spot for the double-elimination semi-finals)... Don't miss that!

Well I'm assuming you're talking about the MLS vs. the Splay on nagrand arena. I personally found that game exciting and could've ended at any second for the entire duration of the game. Both teams were playing defensive enough that their healers were able to sustain on those fumes.
