64% of AJ readers plan to play GW2 according to forum poll
The grand poll on AJ about GuildWars 2 has gained a new dynamic and now more readers voted they would quit WoW than those not being interested in GW2. Actually more than 65% of the voters state they will buy and play GuildWars 2. Less than two weeks ago more than 80% of the voters did not care about GW2 at all. If you did not vote, yet, it's time now.
Interesting is the lack of rank one players among the GW2 enthusiasts. Do you think these are mainly monetary reasons or fear of losing e-peen or something completely different?

Pessimism is just a higher form of optimism, if you expect nothing from things, then you go through life being pleasantly suprised.

wouldn't say a statistic sample of ~300 voters is relevant enough to make such conclusions
the poll itself is located in guild wars 2 section, those who do care about the game, would obviously head right there and vote in the poll
however those who don't, won't even glance at it because they won't enter that section, maybe besides random lurkers
unless the poll was right on top of the home page of aj so nobody would miss it, saying that 64% of population will try the game is just incorrect

Will get both MoP & GW2. Used to play mythic's mmos like DAoC (still do sometimes) so im hoping GW2 will be as fun as that(sieges, 8v8 etc), and incorporate some arena style action aswell into it from WoW.

Arena wouldn't work in GW2 very well.

Hildegard I want to thank you for continually posting great content unlike some other content editors who blatantly use this website to get there youtubes more views. I have been visiting AJ quite a bit more since you've been posting worthy information. Keep it up and good job.
