World of Warcraft 2012 Arena Tournament Final Phase

The final phase of the 2012 Arena Tournament is upon us! There's only 1 more week to go! Teams are now locked and can't be disbanded.

For those of you with trying to play with friends that aren't on your charter here's a method to do so. You can delete your character by passing leader on your team to someone else, and when you remake a character you can start a new team!

Are you getting the Armored Murloc in-game pet? Are you getting the prestigious "Vanquisher" title? How have you guys done so far on the Tournament Realm? What compositions have been bringing success?

Lets take a look at the current top 8 teams!

The top 8 teams as of May 29th includes:

1.) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image - Fire Mage, Affliction Warlock, Restoration Shaman
2.) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image - Retribution Paladin, Unholy Death Knight, Discipline Priest
3.) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image - Subtlety Rogue, Marksman Hunter, Restoration Shaman
4.) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image - Shadow Priest, Affliction Warlock, Restoration Shaman
5.) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image - Arms Warrior, Marksman Hunter, Restoration Shaman
6.) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image - Arms Warrior, Marksman Hunter, Restoration Shaman
7.) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image - Retribution Paladin, Unholy Death Knight, Discipline Priest
8.) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image - Fire / Frost Mage, Affliction Warlock, Restoration Shaman

It looks to be a little similar to ladder with Restoration Shaman teams being dominant plus 2 addition Discipline Priest teams. A few of these teams are the same people playing on different teams.

The main difference from ladder is the lack of Rogue Warlock Shaman; and the fact that there is only one rogue team in the top 8 at all. Rogues seem to be much weaker on the Tournament Realm with the lack of PvE gear to support them. Coming from personal experience, Rogues seem to die much faster on the Tournament Realm as well.

I wasn't playing prior to the arena pass coming up as I wasn't particularly enjoying the game.

Partially, but even prior to warriors becoming as weak as they are in arenas, I found myself not enjoying the direction warriors were moving in throughout Cata (i.e. making some of the more skill dependant ways warriors could play worse - long cd spell reflect cd reducing ability to use it cleverly, making abilities usable in nearly all stances reducing the need to stance swap which I feel was something that better players could get the most out of, making charge/intercept share cooldowns (not really about the mobility nerf, but the reduction of available ways to use it, though they have made the situation better than it was at the time of this nerf first happening), etc) and that was the main reason.

While a class being generally weaker than others would bother me, if I still felt that there was room to play intelligently and skillfully enough then I'd probably still enjoy it more. It was more about that in my opinion they reduced the complexities involved in playing a warrior well and the class felt a lot blander.

I wonder if Blizzard would consider employing you to fix/balance the warrior class?

Did anyone else get completely shafted by Diablo 3 release right in the middle of the tournament or do my partners just suck?

We were racking up games in the practice round and then that freaking game came out and we barely hit 50 for the pet in qualifiers.
