The trolling ends here. One infraction is a warning, the next is a ban. The infractions last for 6 months. If you accumulate too many, you will find yourself permanently banned. Here is the updated punishment chart.

1 : Warning
2: One Day Ban + Access Review
3: Three Day Ban + Access Review
4: One Week Ban + Access Review
5+: Permanent Ban

Basically, I don't care who threw the first insult, if you take part in it you will find yourself banned. It is as simple as that. If someone posts something you think is inappropriate, please report it instead of continuing to derail the thread even worse.

Just obnoxious how many reported posts we are getting. Time to set some people straight and quit letting the repeat offenders off the hook so quickly.

Excellent change. I found myself viewing this site less and less lately because it has pretty much degenerated to the Blizz forums. Here's to hoping this will encourage well thought out posts/threads instead of drivel.

I pretty much feel the same way. Too much trolling/bashing going on lately.

I suggest you revoke gladiator posting status from players who, in all sincerity, not even while trying to troll, post shit that is so blatantly retarded that it makes you wonder if they can get dressed all by themselves.

That'd go a long way to making this forum more readable and a more credible source of information.

The Access Review is also going to apply to Gladiators as well instead of in the past where it only applied to those who were 2k+ with no glad. So yeah, you can lose your access.

Good, Honestly these forums aren't what it used to be. There are so many useless posts/topics now. I wish the forums had more constructive posts/topics.

In addition, due to some increased trolling as of late, we are making our infraction policy a bit more strict. Infractions will now remain in effect for three months instead of just one so repeat offenders will not be able to game the system as much. We have also moved down to two warnings instead of three before the temporary bans start. We encourage everyone to continue to use the report system to help us moderate the forums.

Before the change mentioned in that quote, infractions only lasted a month and it took I believe 3 or 4 infractions to get the first ban.
