Class Tuning for June 27

We continue to closely follow the performance of all specs in Patch 7.2.5, with particular focus on Tomb of Sargeras, and we're looking to make a few targeted adjustments with maintenance in each region, starting tomorrow: 

 

Demon Hunter

  • Havoc
    • Damage of all abilities increased by 2%.
    • Demon’s Bite damage increased by 46%.
    • Effect of Mastery: Demonic Presence (damage only) increased by 7%.

Hunter

  • Survival
    • Damage of all abilities increased by 4%.

Monk

  • Windwalker
    • Damage of all abilities increased by 2.5%.
    • Fists of Fury damage increased by 12%.

Warlock

  • Affliction
    • Corruption and Agony damage reduced by 5%.

Mage

  • Frost
    • Glacial Spike’s stored Icicle damage component no longer benefits from %-damage buffs on the caster.
    • Glacial Spike damage increased by 50%.
      • Developers’ notes: This prevents the Icicles from doubling  %-damage buffs (since the stored Icicle damage already benefits from such buffs). The base damage of Glacial Spike is being increased so that the total damage is similar to what it was in typical situations.

Death Knight

  • Unholy
    • Crypt Fever damage reduced by 33%.
    • PvP template Strength increased by 5%.

Demon Hunter

  • Havoc
    • Chaos Strike deals 5% less damage in PvP situations (was 15% less damage).
    • Annihilation deals 5% less damage in PvP situations (was 15% less damage).
    • PvP template Versatility increased by 5%.
    • PvP template Agility increased by 3%.

Druid

  • Restoration
    • PvP template Intellect increased by 5%.
    • Damage dealt in PvP reduced by 5%.
    • Healing of Swiftmend increased by 40% in PvP situations.

Monk

  • Brewmaster
    • PvP template Versatility increased by 30%.
    • PvP template Haste increased by 25%.
  • Mistweaver
    • Soothing Mist healing reduced by 20% in PvP situations.
    • Soothing Mist healing cast by Jade Serpent Statue reduced by 20% in PvP situations.
    • Healing of the Ancient Mistweaver Arts version of Soothing Mist reduced by 20%.
    • Way of the Crane heals for 175% of damage dealt (was 200%).
    • PvP template Intellect increased by 3%.
    • Damage dealt in PvP reduced by 5%.

Mage

  • Frost
    • Ebonbolt damage reduced by 10% in PvP situations.
    • Flurry damage reduced by 5% in PvP situations.
    • Glacial Spike damage reduced by 10% in PvP situations.
    • PvP template Intellect increased by 3%.

Paladin

  • Flash of Light healing increased by 15% in PvP situations.
  • Holy
    • PvP template Intellect increased by 5%.
    • Damage dealt in PvP reduced by 5%.
    • Holy Light healing increased by 10% in PvP situations.
    • Holy Shock healing increased by 10% in PvP situations.
  • Protection
    • Sacred Duty reduces cooldown of Blessing of Protection and Sacrifice by 33% (was 50%).
  • Retribution
    • PvP template Versatility increased by 50%.
    • PvP template Haste decreased by 10%.
    • PvP template Critical Strike decreased by 20%.

Priest

  • Discipline
    • Damage dealt in PvP reduced by 3%.
    • PvP template Intellect increased by 5%.
  • Holy
    • Damage dealt in PvP reduced by 5%.
    • PvP template Intellect increased by 3%.
  • Shadow
    • PvP template Intellect increased by 3%.
    • PvP template Versatility increased by 10%.
    • Shadow Mania now grants 4 Insanity every 2 seconds (was 3 Insanity).
    • Mind Trauma now steals 3% Haste (was 1% Haste).
    • Mind Trauma’s maximum Haste stolen is increased to 12% per target, and 24% overall.

Rogue

  • Assassination
    • Poison Bomb damage reduced by 40% in PvP situations (was reduced by 30%).
  • Subtlety
    • Vanish cast by Thieves' Gambit will now cancel when the target begins to cast a spell.
    • PvP Template Agility reduced by 5%.

Shaman

  • Enhancement
    • PvP Template Agility reduced by 5%.
    • Damage of Stormstrike, Stormstrike Off-Hand, Windstrike, and Windstrike Off-Hand reduced by 5% in PvP situations.

Warlock

  • Affliction
    • Corruption damage reduced by 15% in PvP situations.
    • Agony damage reduced by 15% in PvP situations.
    • Absolute Corruption now increases the duration of Corruption to 24 seconds in PvP situations (was 40 seconds).
    • Unstable Affliction damage increased by 10% in PvP situations.
    • Drain Soul damage increased by 15% in PvP situations.
    • Gateway Mastery now allows players to use your Demonic Gateway 15 seconds more often (was 30 seconds).

Warrior

  • Arms
    • Defensive Stance reduces the Warrior's damage by 20% in PvP situations (was 10%).
    • PvP Template Strength reduced by 4%.
    • PvP Template Versatility reduced by 3%.

No because the difference is when I play a comp i play it close to skill cap

if anyone needs to be banned, it's you. You do nothing but sit on AJ being a passive aggressive idiot that nobody likes, sorry you stink of washing up liquid.

Feel free to call me an idiot because I'm a hunter or some stupid ass remark but I've actually written all this down on paper

I actually made an appearance at DH2014 and I met up with people from twitch who were involved with the dota 2 / cs tournies that where there, I talked about the game from my perspective as a professional player and we actually shared a lot of opinions. All I'm saying is a lot of people will be VERY surprised about the future of this game in the esport world :)

Cuz pressing 1 spacebar 2 spacebar 3 spacebar 1 spacebar to do 450k dps doesnt seem right

Most Druid talent rows just look/feel depressing af...

30 aimed shots @ standing still ret pala then he stunned me and he killed me without any cds up in few globals #legion its not even about balance its just not fucking fun to play 0 window for skill

 

not implying that some specs are op or bad(terms of balance), but just some of them are super boring (mm hunter/ bm) like they were still in development phase

Too bad that 10% versa buff is the 10% of the 4,5% which we already have, so we end up with something like 5% versa. Good job blizzard! Buffing versa by 1%! :D

boomkin gladiator guide:

 

put moonfire on 1

starfall on 2

bearform on 3

and rotate those 3 buttons

I think moonkin are fine by themselves. Try to face them without a rsham, it's an extreme difference in tankiness.

Rsham are the problem in the Rsham/moonkin/x comp.

 

Oh, and rogue/mage doing more damage than anyone while having the best cc is... embarassing.

Dempending should be removed. Maybe after this small change blizzard will see how boring this game is. Without demp 80% arenas would never end
