What percentage of people do you think arena with actual everyday teammates? Well everyone who doesn't have a set team will jump into soloq and stay there, no reason to get a team that's going to play with you for 5 games then leave if you can just spam solo q.

And why is this a problem? Atleast the participation will be 5 times higher. And I think a big percentage will search for actual teammates, because they will have a big advantage queueing vs soloqueue people. Atleast they will find teammate so much easier because they already played with them on soloque.

Find it fucking hilarious how people come up with the idea "WELL WE CAN SOLO Q THEN IF WE FIND PEOPLE WE LIKE THEN WE CAN JUMP INTO 3v3". Haha you think solo q is going to single handedly change how the community treats arena? If you find people in solo you want to q with they are going to be MORE inclined to leave after that first loss like a twat now more than ever. Why would he worry about sticking with a team when solo q is right there? Normally the only thing holding them back from leaving so soon was the fact that they don't want to be stuck in lfg. Plus whose to say they would even want to q with you? If they are 1900 in solo q why the fuck are they going to want to start fighting premades at 0 rating.

Are you high? How can you say this? This is the definition of delusion. You are queueing with toxic people at any mmr in any game, you will always meet toxic people, get over it. Atleast toxic people that are also very bad at the game will stay at 1500 mmr, and the toxic people that are atleast good at the game will get to high mmr. Atleast with soloqueue you will have that "Queue again with the same team" button that you can press after each arena ends, and if you find a team that keeps pressing the button after some looses you will know they are not that toxic.

Anw the point of this post, and any post like this, is to find ideas to resurrect Wow PvP, if you think some rewards can do this then I have no reason to keep trying to reason with you. Maybe I cannot see the future to be 100% sure that soloqueue will help the game, but what I know for sure is that only a really big change can have a chance to do that. At this point the participation can not get much lower, I just want to take my chances with soloqueue and if that is the end so be it.

This you fucking retard is exactly the reason we want soloqueue. Because unless you are in the rank 1 community where every rank 1 player has each other add on battlenet and they find queue partners instantly, unless you are in that community, you have to face this fucking shit you just linked every single fucking day for about 1 hour each day just to play the fucking game.

I work 8 hours a day on a job I love, i sometimes meet my friends, and I usually spend 2-3 hours on wow, why the fuck would I want to queuue arena if I have to get trolled for 1 hour in LFG before I start playing? I believe most people that play Wow anymore are around the ages of 20-30 with a daily routine really close to the one I just mentioned. (Unless ofc you have spend all your school years on geting gladiator in wow and now you work 4 hours at Mcdonalds or trying to be a full time streamer)

Gain a fucking braincell and realise that unless you are in that community with the 100-200 rank 1 people that have each other add on battlenet you have to spend more time getting trolled in LFG than actually palying arena.

If you go around and ask the people with 1800-2500 rating why they dont play arena that often, 90% of them will tell you that the main reason is because its so fucking hard to find partners.

As a lot of people mentioned in this post, soloqueu people will have no chance on reaching glad leavels. Soloqueue will help them instantly queueing around 2000-2400 mmr and give them a grater chance to find real partners if they wish to push for more rating.

You already have class balance issues, you always did, and you always will.

The only way to ressurect PvP at this point is if you make a really big change, like soloqueue, if you think class balancing or rewards can save PvP at this point then you are delusional.

Surely what you're really saying is you want an easier time to find partners.

 

Could just allow the queue system to filter via:

Max rating

Achievements, e.g. 2k last season, 2k this expansion, 2.2, 2.4, 2.7, duelist,glad etc.

 

No man, what I want is very simple, you can find it in LoL, Dota, Overwatch, CS go, Hearthstone. I want to press one button that will queue me together and vs people of my skill level automatically. I want to avoid boosted achievements or 10 year old achievements.

 

Surely the developers have to work for it, either add a mandatory filter option, or something like Tosan mention about banning OP combinations from the search system, or maybe something else. Also adding some kind of voice coms, and the queue again button, and maybe something else that can help, idk... there are a lot of ideas mentioned.

 

My point here is why I want this, and I am saying it for the millionth time, I want to press one button that will do the search for me and find me partners of my current skill level automatically, like in every other PvP game. Why is this so hard for some people to understand, I don't get it :(

Honestly, i dont think solo queue would do anything to the game atm. If people dont want to play a shit game with premades, they wont do it with solo queue. Can you just imagine a new player trying to heal through Feral/Ret/FrostDK/etc dmg? He'll try max 5 games, get shit on every time and never queue arena aver again.


Atleast he will not have to search for teamates for hours in order he get shit on later. With soloqueue he will just press 1 button and start playing the game, and maybe with this way he will have patience to play more than 5 games.

Atleast for me, the main reason I don't find the motivation to queue arena that often these days is not because I don't like the game, is because I don't have the patience to search 30 mins for partners in LFG so that someone rage quits after the first lost and i have to start searching in LFG all over again.

I want to press one button that will automatically do the search for me, like in every other PvP game.

Solo Queue is a must for PvP to be revitalized. Otherwise it's doomed to continue dying (if it hasn't already died).

I envision the best Solo Queue implementation as follows:

a) Separate bracket with separate rewards - ie separate titles, separate tabards/illusions, rating achievements etc. Premade 3v3 bracket rewards should always be "cooler" and "better" than Solo Queue rewards.

B) Ban tanks and class stacking.

c) Special reporting feature that automatically punishes toxic players (report players for unsportsmanship/bad language, ie throwing and toxicity respectively). If someone gets reported enough they get banned from solo queue for a while, if they get reported more they get banned again (longer) and then eventually they just get banned for the entire season and DQ'd from end of season rewards. If you abuse the report system you also get punished (can't report as often or banned etc).

d) Voice Communication. Implement Battle.net voice into solo queue so that it automatically starts a call. Easy keybinds/access to muting/sound level changing would also be required.

e) Select your comp. Everyone has to select at least ~3 comps that they want to get queued as, that means you have some choice in what you want to play, so you never get matched as Elemental/Enhancement/X or some other really, really, dogshit comp.

f) Duo queue. If you want to play with a friend you can do so, however when you face none-duo queue opponents they lose/win less or more mmr and rating respectively so they don't get punished for playing true "solo". Rules (B) and (e) still apply.


Agree with everything apart from the separate bracket thing. The game has simply not enought players to have 2 separte versions active enough. I would rather have soloqueue and premade teams on the same queues but Gladiator and Rank One can only be achieved from premade teams and not from soloqueue.

It will anw be almost imposible to get gladiator from soloqueue when you queue them vs premade teams, but atleast a player will be able to go until ~2500 soloqueue, and through this journey he will be able to find actual good partners that they can add each other on battle net and go for that Gladiator title.

With this way you give reasons for the premade teams to exist, while letting the players have fun queueing solo and having a much grater chance finding real parters they work well with, because they have already played alot together by a "Queue Again with the same Team" button at the end of every arena match.

Dude I know this is a bot, but it doesn't seem to be gaining anything or advertise anything, it just post random shit at random 100 year old threads.
What is the purpose of this? It is almost like this is a bot that someone with a dead forum will use just to post random stuff in order to make his forum not look dead.

If this is the case, then this is low. Its one of the lowest things I ever saw. Its even lower than filming your wife getting fucked by another dude just because she ask you to.

most of player base would be queing soloq since its alot easier to find people (however games would be much less intense due to fact that ure playing with random players). 

And it would just be unfair to match premade 3v3 players against soloq players so it would have to be a seperate bracket altogether. 

Eventually everyone would just start playing soloq and premade 3v3 would die same as every other game with a soloq system (league/cs/sc2/overwatch etc). You can even take this from bunch of popular private servers that added soloq 3s literally died 

WHY would you have separate bracket for premade teams? Ofc they will have an advantage over those who are queuing solo, like in every other fucking PvP game in the world, but why does that sound like a problem to you? When you are bored you can queue solo until 2.2 - 2.4 rating and if you want to go for that Gladiator or Rank 1 title you will have to queue with a premade team. (plus they can use the voice coms system they already have in Overwatch for soloqueue groups so that they have a better chance.)

 

But as Tosan said (if you even watched his video) by queuing solo queue it is a much better and much easier way to find actual teammates for premade later on, because you have already tried them, instead of sitting in the shitty LFG system they have now for 1 hour just to get trolled from a fucking retard that bought his Gladiator title from a boosting site.

 

Just stfu with your nonsense arguments that "soloqueue is bad" and "soloqueue will kill PvP" IT CANNOT GET ANY LOWER YOU FUCKING RETARDS! JUST LET THEM TRY IT! EVERY OTHER FUCKING PVP GAME IN THE WORLD USES IT.

Leatrix only implements a small portion of this. That of course would be TcpAckFrequency. The whole reason why this helps is in part due to the way TCP interacts in comparison to udp. It is waiting for a metaphorical hand shake or confirmation. Packet clumping waits to group them before sending adding delay. Of course not all games interact the same way and this is merely a guide for WoW and that alone. Please note.. there are no global settings that work best. The four problem childs are ECN, DCA, DMA, and chimney offload. Testing these settings may help or hurt your connection depending on what your NIC is and what its drivers are.

Ghoul has been in the game since Death Knights were created (2 expansions before your class, Monk, existed). Dunno what your going on about there.

 

At an absolute maximum you'll have like nine pets up at once. (Gargoyle + 2 Ghouls from All Will Serve + 4 from Apocalypse + 2 slimes(max count)). Nobody runs Unholy Mutation (was nerfed heavily + Necrotic Strike received marginal buffs which makes it better), and Gargoyle is a three minute cooldown.

 

Festering Wounds don't do any damage, why would they be dispellable? You have to burst them via Scourge Strike/Clawing Shadows or convert them to Necrotic wounds using Necrotic Strike for them to have any use. Them just sitting on you does essentially nothing if untouched.

God you are really trying to prove that DKs don't have a million pets in the arena. 

 

Festering wounds are responsible for most of DKs damage. They should either make them dispellable, or reduce their duration by half and remove the talent that lets your pet add festering wounds. Some DKs just leave their pet on one target (just for the dmg you take when healed) and they train the other and feel impossible to heal.

 

If I remember correctly only Palas, Monks, and Priest can dispell Diseases. Point is, they need to give a way to counter Festering wounds.

 

You will be strong against comps that dont have pala/monk/priest and weak against comps that they do.

 

If they make Festering Wounds dispellable, then you will have 3 classes that counter your aids class, and you will be EXACTLY the same against every other comp. By having some classes to care about dispelling diseases, it will also add some more depth to this shity game when fighting against a DK.

 

If you find that unfair then you are just another selfish fuck who think his shity class deserves all the best.

Not sure if trolling, but max pets you can summon in arena (which is from Apocalypse, not army of dead) is 4 not fucking 20 lol.

 

Theres no way festering wounds can be dispellable with auto disease / poison dispell in game seems as its core to our damage, which by the way is stupidly designed around crypt fever doing 30%+ of our damage versus hot healers.

Isn't it 6 from Apocalypse? Plus Ghoul? Plus one more skeleton from All Will Serve? Plus some Smiles if you play Unholy Mutation?

Ok sorry I did not start counting in fucking pets in the arena. 10 pets its not AIDS at all.

Army of the dead is not usable in arenas or bgs right now. Festering wounds are the core mechanic of unholy DK. It's like saying combo points are now dispellable. Nice.

Rdruid bear form needs some armor nerf.

No its not like saying combo points are dispellable, its like saying Vampiric Touch is dispellable. which is...

 

As for the army of the dead part, idk man. I see 20 pets from the DK I thought they could use 2 stacks of army of the dead plus a hunter stampede...

• “Cut to the Chase” is removed and replaced with “Cripple Wish”.
• “Cripple Wish” makes your slowing abilities reduce the targets movement speed by 50% instead of 30%.
(“Cut to the Chase” was actually an idea from the same guy who invented “Burst of Speed”, who got fired after that but he somehow managed to get a job back in the designing team using a transgender disguise.)
 
Druid
• “Abundance” can no longer stack more than 2 times.
(Lol our designers forgot to add a stack limit to this talent, sorry guys.)
 
Mage
• “Shimmer” is no longer castable while casting.
(We feel like it was unfair to cast Sheep while using Shimmer and the only healers able to counter it was Restoration Druids and Discipline Priests.)
 
Death Knight
• “Festering Wounds” are now considered as a Disease and thus are being dispellable.
• “Army of the Dead” is no longer usable in Arenas and Battlegrounds.

Our damage is easily healable, we have no offensive pressure, no mobility, no utility, our self-healing is garbage.


No utility???? Mass dispell / Mind Controll / Purge / Silence / Fear (or stun) / Healling reduction (ok they fucked this up a bit). Point is if SP are good at one thing then this is utility. I just want them to reduce mass dispell mana cost by half, cos right now it needs 70% of our mana and this is retarded.

Self healing with vampiric is decent, mostly because we can do self heal and damage with the same spell. But I would love to see Shadow Mend being replaced with a holy school heal so we can atleast cast something when geting kicked on cd on shadow school.

As for the mobility I dont mind, by now u should have got used to SP having shit mobility.

However I think we do need some damage buff. Not sure if that should be on our dots, or on Mind Blast so we can play shadow insight, but they need to give us the ability to put a bit more pressure outside of Power Infusion.
