how do you get a kill as dlock in 2v2 with a rsham?

CC + burst to put it vaguely.

My Lock tried out destro. It's pretty good, but a little harder on the shaman, who has to be have pretty fast reaction times, during burst / cc phases mostly. However, sometimes ret paladins / priests, or other setups like that have loads of defensive dispels and it seems to counter us. Got any tricks to help with that, Torment ?

Playing the setup also, 2250 at the moment but i still find Druid/Warriors to be near impossible as they currently are. Extremely hard to CC druid with warrior on me and even when i do its hard to kill a warrior in that time :x

Suggestions?

Hi Shadowsong, also having trouble with Druid warrior ATM.
We have only found one way to win :
1. Make warrior trinket out of something, by spamming fear for instance.
2. Make him use his own fear by having your shaman close to you if you can, so that your shaman can put earthbind and frostshock on druid to prevent him from pillar humping.
3. Pop bloodlust and get the warrior hexed while you try to oneshot the druid.
The druid must be silenced / stunned / feared or whatever when you hex, or the warrior will get dispelled.

Usually it works, but it depends on the arena : usually impossible to do in Dalaran / Blade's edge...

I HATE to play affli+healer. imo its faceroll. and rly rly easy and boring to play. my main spec is destro ofc, but i do not wanna play destro+healer. i think its more fun to play 2xDPS but as i see ur playing with shaman insteed of mage.. is it rly that much better?

Ninja, you want to aim for something like Immolate, Shadowfury, Chaos Bolt, Conflag. Its a huge ammount of damage well only requiring the 1.5 sec cast on the immolate to pull it off, after that the target is stuned by shadowfury allowing you to chaos bolt + conflag. ( i also have hand mounted pyros macroed to conflag for added burst)

Usually what I find to work the best is, Immo>fear>chaos bolt>searing pain>conflag. if they aren't dead then drop the shadowfury and use the increased casting time to get off a few searing pains or incinerates popping death coil to keep them from healing/dpsing.

Hey Torment, i play resto sham/ destro in 2's atm caus ei can pull out enough burst while im aff and matches last forever.

hey im goofin around with rogue/lock and in 2s and im finding using the voidwalker is keeping me alive much longer with sacrifice and and the greater see invis he can provide is helping us get the jump on any other stealth teams, but im wondering is the succubus is still better to use with out setup and if so dumb question but how do u use the succubuss effectivly cause mine always seems to do its own thing even when on passive

Torment mate... I Destro/Resto shaman( im the shaman) . But against priest rogue theres just nothing we can do unless getting some lucky crits on rogues.
Do you possibly have a decent strat for priest/rogue. Thanks in advance

I'd suggest using the Succubus and chaining seduce/hex CC onto the Priest while nuking the Rogue. A helpful tip for your lock is to shadowfury/fear the Rogue and continue to nuke/fear/death coil him with you assisting DPS while simultaneously keeping the Priest CC'd (focus seduce macros help tonnes).

Heal drink whenever you get the opportunity to keep up on mana.

The Voidwalker is actually key if you're playing lock/rogue vs. other rogue teams. You'll probably want to sac/fel dom it after the other rogue has opened/been opened on.

I dont understand the point of what you said about void use in previous post.
If cast sac then fel.dom to summon void again, you still have the previous sac's cooldown. If the cd would've been reset with a new void i would have understood. Please clarify =)

And another thing, i'm really hesitating between these 2 trinket stat boosts:
1050 res & 1800 spell power
890 res & 2020 spell power
I team up with a rogue.

Dredlock, I should have clarified in my post but I meant sac the voidwalker and fel dom out a Succubus/Felhunter.

As far as your trinkets are concerned I'd go with the 890 resi/2020 spell power one.

Well , that is basicly what we are doing, having Sucubuss chaining CC on the priest, I dont know if we tried that Shadowfury/fear tactic but yea... It just seems that smart rogues can just kill Sucubuss within 2 sec.. And tryin to resummon one is impossible if not on blade's edge arena:/

Mana Burn totally kills us, my shaman is good at LoS but one loses him likee 2k mana. How do u get around tht?

Haven't faced too many Mage/Rogues as Shaman/Lock but I'll tend to just seduce spam the Rogue no matter who they open on before nuking him down. You'll have to tell me who they go on for me to help. I'm seeing it in my head as them zerging the Shaman down while CC'ing the hell out of the Warlock.

If that's the case, again, you'll want to seduce spam the Rogue off the bat then probably swap to feldom'ing a felhunter out to devour sheeps/cs frostbolts and just continue peeling/nuking the Rogue.

against rogue/rogue? they can nuke down my lock in 2 seconds while im eating sap/blind/stuns...most games we play against rogue/rogue my lock doesnt get off a single cast and does hardly any damage...

Hey Torment I was wondering if spell penn is worth getting as destro, my logic for saying no that I use CoE so much, giving me the needed resitance reduction.

Yeah its always worth getting and IIRC stats scale with pets now, making it very desirable.
