SL/SL Lock, Maces or Muta Rogue, and Druid

Inifinite energy for DPS, Rogue is hard to CC, Warlock can take a beating, and they have modifiers that increase the healing they receive.

Warrior IMO is not a good choice as the druid lacks dispells. Warlock pets are not a reliable form of dispell either.

Thats exactly why we bring a sl warlock.
Either they are forced to focus the warlock via ccing the warrior (and fail) or try dropping the warrior, which hasn't been much of a problem.
It obviously has its flaws, but so does every other combo, and reaching top 10 is proof it works =)

If I came across as calling it a bad, I am at fault. A warrior instead of a rogue is defintely not bad, i just found a rogue much easier to deal with my lack of dispells as a druid in 3s

WTF top 10 Korgath? You better not rob me of points as my 3s climb the ladder!

SL lock + warr + dru

Our lock plays very well defensively with dispells on me, and it works majority of the time. We plan on getting top ten later tonight

Priest + Moonkin + Rogue
Moonkin + Rogue + Frost Mage

Lots of control, lots of burst.
And also, lost and lots of control :D

We will probably start in season 3, having practiced some, those setups are good for top 10 (cause we have beaten #10 and #3 already while trying for 10 games :p)

I play with SL/SL Lock and Mutilate Rogue. We do pretty well, most trouble is with Warrior teams basically.

I ran with UA/Lock & Spriest for a while. Worked pretty well, quick fun games too. We reached 2100 - 2200 without too much hastle, but after that we hit a slump. It was very difficult to protect the priests mana at all times. If and when he ever went oom, we would usually be in a tough spot if we didnt already cripple them. More then that though was losing 100+pts a week to SR gear abusers only to slowly work it back up didnt help either. When four losses against an SR abusers takes in an hour what took four to get, you get fed up.

Rogue + SL lock + Resto Druid
Spriest + UA lock+ Resto Druid
Warrior + SL lock + Resto Druid

These setups are probably the hardest groups to counter in 3v3 with the druid cyclone and Bashing etc, these groups have alot of CC to slow/stop healing which eventually your team should have one of your eneimes dead

Spriest, UA lock and resto druid is prolly one of best setups out there. Amazing CC, burst and interrupts.

Tried out a holy/disc priest, drainlock, moonkin setup the other day, and it felt very solid. The only team we did not seem to stand a chance against was a markhunter/drainlock/resto druid, who could just deplete my and our priests mana way too fast, and seeing as we kind of lack burst their druid had no problem healing.

We started out at 1950~ or so rating and got to 2050~, with no problem what so ever. I think we could be very good with a bit of practice.

We run ua lock, spriest, boomkin for 3s. a lot of fun, lot of cc, lot of doom raining down. We are stuck in the mid 2100s, aiming for 2200 to stop and take gladiator.

if we can't seem to get up there, which i think we can, we're going to go resto druid, slsl lock, stunherlawl warrior. we've been holding off on that just because we like to run the fun boomkin setup.

Right now, my team is running 2 sl/sl locks, and a resto druid. At the minute, we're at 2144 with a w/l ratio of 60:14.

And the only team that we consistently have lost to was a 2 warrior team, which we then gave up queue'ing and waited a day.

Quite cheesy, quite fun, and no mentions of it in the thread yet.
