I saw nothing in the patch notes about the mace stun nerf everyone is talking about, so I'm assuming it's getting a stealth nerf. Can anyone confirm that mace stun has been nerfed and to what extent?

I have s2 sword, and banked it after making stormherald because LOLMACESTUN IM SO GOOD beat my teams too many times, so I had to balance the scales. With the changes, is it still worth it to use stormherald, or should I go back to the better damage spec?

i'm pretty sure they are just confirming that they are going to nerf it, it hasn't happened as of 2.2

could be wrong though

I'm pretty sure it hasn't been nerfed yet, and have heard it will be nerfed in 2.3 for sure. I think something like 5% less proc rate? I'm not to sure have heard so many things. Either way it won't be a clear winner over the other 2 weapon specs any more.

2.3 is when you can expect this nerf.

Yeah I think they should just nerf skillherald not all maces. 7 rage instead of 6 rage when it procs... But I guess we'll see how much they are nerfing the proc rate. Also, later in that thread they mention that all drain spells will be affected from mortal strike. Now they said it will affect "All drain spells" including drain mana?

is drain mana a heal? no

Read what blizzard says... "We also plan to have healing reduction effects affect all drain spells and abilities. As the example that most people bring up, Mortal Strike will affect Drain Life."

This would include drain mana? It was a question because they said healing reduction effects affect ALL drain spells and abilities. I think it should affect drain mana because an oom lock just does this over and over and can pretty much sustain his mana without life tap lol.

You're not making any sense... Drain mana is not a healing effect. MS/wound will affect drain life and siphon life only.

Siphon life being a life drain, too.
Yes, drain life and siphon life only.

And yup, mace stun will be nerfed in 2.3, though you will gain 7 instead of 6 rage by proc.
Numbers for the mace proc nerf haven'T been given.

And nerfing stormherald wouldn't make any sense. It's only a tiny part of mace proc imbaness

oh come on, you know they're nerfing it by more than 2%

I don't think they have mentioned the percent yet. "We are evaluating it"

I wouldn't think it could be much more then 3 percent reduction or so, or they are going to completely destroy mace spec in pvp (and its not as good as axe and sword for pve so....)

Well i know it doesn't make sense but blizzard wasn't very clear by saying ALL DRAIN SPELLS AND ABILITIES. I was just throwing the question out there because I was unsure if it included drain mana. I mean warlocks get enough mana back with life tap/mana drain lol it would actually balance locks from having endless mana pools imo.

You guys forgot one more drain effect, and that is death coil. Being a life leech effect it was unaffected by MS. It will be now.
