I don't think you understand the arena nerd terminology. When someone takes rank 1 from you, they are taking rank 1 from you, not furious gladiator. Unless it's the last night of the season.

We decided to make the devs aware that arena teams (such as yourself) are using broken mechanics to gain rating. You can find the thread that Dunstock and Kazzy started here:

As you can see our testing paid off as the thread has had quite a response from the community now that it is at 15 pages already. We're just trying to get this unintended mechanic (exploit) hotfixed ASAP.

BTW I was looking forward to playing a new team composed of TBC gladiators and I have to say I was disappointed to find out that formally respected players would stoop so low as to use a very unintended mechanic where they spam one attack from the start of the match to the end. How can you play such a spec?

There are a ton of broken things in this game. But on the level of AOE snare/MS/COT/interrupt that does 1.5K to 6K and prevents any rogue openers for 60 seconds on a class that's being designed to be a stealth single target opponent ?

As Fel already said, props on the creative comp/spec, we beat you a couple times but it is definitely an uphill battle, especially getting constantly paired on maps like Dalaran or Blade's Edge where spreading out is difficult. That being said, it's not like you're doing anything that requires much skill. Recount showed the rogue doing nothing but FoK, about 80% of his damage, not even meleeing anyone or even having anyone targetted most of the time. One of your paladins even failed to bubble on the match where we swapped to him. I'm sure we can all agree that Blizzard made a stupid mistake, as they often do, and will soon make some changes to kill the spec you're using. Fairly creative on your part, but again, I don't think it will last very long.

Why do people transfer to this battlegroup anyway? Are you honestly so interested in being rank 1 that you would transfer to an awful battlegroup to (maybe) get it? We've got a few amazing teams but it's nothing like the competition you would find elsewhere. I know personally if I didn't raid and I wasn't with the same guild for 4 years I would definitely be on a better battlegroup, playing with a larger group of amazing players with shorter queue times. Transferring here for the sole focus of pvp is sad and pathetic to me, honestly.

A few players who are looking to get furious glad in 3s (and are very capable of it) transfer to retaliation because they have some friends on it. A little later, another friend from Skullcrusher transfers over because he is feeling lonely. The 5 of them make a 5s team for the hell of it to see how high they can get with some random ass setup using crappy specs. They are very successful and piss other teams off because they have a much better win/loss record and don't really have to try to be good at the setup.

This makes these 5 players terrible.

I don't get why a single mistake that one paladin/druid/rogue makes during one arena match where 5 players are attacking him/her makes that person a terrible player. Also, if the setup works, play it. This logic never stopped rogue/rogue/druid, hunter/priest/druid, or ret paladin/warrior/shaman in S4. The fact that they found an easy ass setup which requires minimal skill does not make them bad, it just makes them lucky.

That's like saying that 100% of paladins are terrible simply because the class requires so little skill to play.

4 dps is hard, especially when I have to go on the defensive and drop to 30% inside a cheapshot, hit shield wall, and get chaosbolted the second after and die. You can think you're good all you want, it really doesnt bother me. We farmed you for almost 300 points, so I could care less.
