First an overview being this is the spec I am currently playing with and feel it to be very powerful for the current season. I think there are a few different options that you can change the spec slightly but still have the main set of talents, just adjust it for your playstyle prefrence.

A few of the flexible points include Reverb, Elemental Fury, Elemental Focus, Toughness. Each of these are important talents but won't affect your overall game play by much. Things you can change for is either filling one of them that isn't filled or taking points out of any and going into guardian totems or imp windfury if your team has alot of melee that can benefit from that talent.

Another thing to keep in mind is the anticipation talent. This talent is what you would see as the anti-disarm talent with a bit of extra dodge included. ultimately I don't see this talent as worth the 3 points as the best situation is just to have two offhands one with a dps enchant and one with a weapon chain on it. If your playing against a disarm class put on your weapon chain offhand if no disarm is present play with the dps enchant. The talent could be worth it before you have two offhands but obviously once you have two weapons the points can be spent better elsewhere.

Strengths
Strengths to the overall spec include the use of the Feral Spirit Wolves with the Glyph included for large bursting, and have a stun and sprint ability that breaks the shaman from CC aswell as the wolves. (best coupled with bloodlust) Full use of Earthen Power both for peeling on a partner and self-dispeling. Also picks up frozen power for wonderful control on both enemeys for either letting your healer grab some drinks or closing the gap to the healer trying to kite you. Most of the rest of the talents are placed for pure damage and very little is spent on mana reduction as with the new Imp SS and well timed rage its fairly diffcult to go oom.

Weaknesses

The weaknesses I can see if rather smart players "gibbing" your rages at which time you spend ~1 min doing 50% dmg and doing everything you can to keep defensive totems down. Even with the 6% damage reduction picked up I find that when focused I must use rage defensively or die, this includes keeping stoneclaw on CD if your being focused and if it is any kind of melee or even double melee you must be wearing your shield. (at ~1000 res shielded) Last weakness which is less based on this spec but enhance is general is a healer that is being peeled enough to focus dispels on your mealstorm porcs can keep you damage fairly low the trick is creating enough pressure with your partners help to not give them those GCD's to dispel you.

Glyph's

Currently I'm using Feral Spirit, Stoneclaw, Stormstrike. While I certainly see the first 2 as must haves the 3rd I like to change around sometimes. My reasoning behind the stormstrike glyph is just simple extra damage. However that being said I also like the sound of Frostshock, to add a bit more control (thinking warrior/druid here) of course the glyph is kinda no good against a dispel class. Or of course any of the other enhance +damage glyphs namely lighting bolt. Another option is the hex glyph to hex your dps target allowing you the 30% before it breaks. I would say the 3rd glpyh would be more about your comp and playstyle.

Gems and Enchants

Gems first, I'm going mainly offensive/defensive mix gems this season.

Blue slots: First pick up your 85ish spell pen from your first 2 blue sockets + cloak enchant. If you must fill another blue beyond that I like AP/STM.

Red slots: Depending on your comp you can change these slots around a bit. I prefer to use the AP/Res and Agi/Res gems for here as in 3s I am targeted a fair amount and prefer a high level res, yet still getting some offensive from the AP/Agi for when your not focused. Can also go 40 ap if your more top of the line season gear that can get a solid 800-1000 res.

Yellow slots: I generally follow the same as red, as both are orange gems.

Meta: Meta is easy. Two rules come into play with meta gems as melee dps. Either A you use your meta for run speed and have some other silly boot enchant or B you do whats smart and use the 3% crit damage meta and use tuskers on your boots. Beyond those the only other potenially usable one is the stun duration reduction if you are playing orc.

Enchants I'm using are also Offensive/defensive mix.

Helm: WG AP/RES
Shoulders: WG AP/RES
Cloak: Spell pen
Chest: +10 stats
Bracer: (personally I have the LWing +114 AP) Could suggest full AP or full STM here depending on the rest of your gear.
Gloves: (personally I use the rocket gloves) If not an engineer I could suggest crusher.
Pants: I'm using the AP/CRIT kit as my res level is pretty solid and I can afford the extra offensive pressure. If your just starting off I could reccomend the STM/RES kit.
Boots: Tuskers

I will be trying this specc tomorrow in 3's, kinda using the same though withouht Earth's grasp and enhancing totems. Prolly will still use 5/5 toughness since then you can gem aggressive, im to much behind on damage right now.

Anyways well written guide.
