Post here if you find a leak on buffs/nerfs on shamans.

I have a feeling its going to be the Lightning bolt dps issue and earthshock nearly being on DR all over...all over.
Blizzard will say something is a buff, everyone else will call it a nerf, blizzard will tell the community that they are idiots.
What 2.3 showed me, is that blizzard does not really do much internal testing with regards to the shaman class. I think someone with a math degree would do well in an MMORPG like blizzard. I have always thought this. Just a number cruncher rather than doing what blizzard seems to be doing with is "moving the numbers by gut feeling"

I feel that the way old hunters were is pretty much equal to how shamans are now. Good players will make it work. But the majority of shaman population just cry cause its not easy.

It does not have to do with easy or hard, it has to do viability.
I mean look, hunters were and still are fairly easy to play. It had nothing to do with the ease of play as to why they were not doing well in arena.

Pretty much what I was getting at.

The only 'leak' I've seen has to do with making the weapon buffs (WF, FT, etc) castable through the trade window, lasting an hour.
The patch notes these are from are almost certainly fake, however. Still, it would allow for some buff flexibility options, plus you wouldn't be able to destroy the WF buff any more.

The WF buff itself is WAY stronger then the buff the totem gives, this will never happen.

it would make the matchups where shaman/warrior are great better
it would not change the matchups were shaman/warrior suck
in short, it would only make 5v5 lame.

Yeah, ease of play has nothing to do with it. I don't even know why you would use hunters as an example though, as they're just as hard as any other class (hi, I have to micro a pet too.)
Would've been more appropriate to say hey, none of these classes are really 'difficult' to play assuming you can learn decision making skills with a given class, perhaps they weren't doing well in arena because a class like hunters were lacking something, that something was added... and now they're (more) viable.

The old school S1/early S2 WF totem made Shaman/Warrior super valuable.
Because they gave up survivability for offensive ability =\
I would just like things like dispel resist, which every healer gets, which dps classes also get.
Just a lot of stuff that we are missing, and it's keeping us way down on the balance list.
