hey, i posted this in another thread but it was offtopic and didn't get any replies, i wanted to get a definite answer on this.

i was under the impression that since BC, you generate proportionally less rage per hit when flurry is active, to keep the overall rage gen over time the same. IE 15% flurry active and hits generate 15% less rage than normal.

i just specced 35/23/3 after a long time of 33/28, and i think i do notice my hits generating a little bit more rage, but i didnt do any testing. is anyone positive on this?

Does it really matter?

I'm inclined to say yes, flurry nerfs your rage generation. But even if it doesn't, atleast in my opinion, 3 points in flurry is a pretty big waste anyways.
Is 15% faster white hits, when white dmg is maybe half your damage, worth it compared to 4% more damage from all physical targets, when flurry isn't up a significant portion of the time? And tactical mastery is very good for immediate shield reflects, sweeping strikes, overpowers (without going down to 5 rage), etc.

Sorry, I kind of ignored your question, and wish I could give you a solid yes/no answer.

Don't quote me on this, since I don't remember the formula, but I'm pretty sure it does reduce the rage generation, but not so much that you don't gain any from the overall faster attacks.

It does, much the same way haste itemization would scale according to rage gen = passive haste increase. You get 3% more haste to your swings, you'll generate 3% less rage.
