Proximo targetting issues

Anyone have problems targetting things with proximo?

it seems like every game at least one member of the opposing team goes "stealth" mode (name is faded out, with ***'s around it) and stays that way for the rest of the game, regardless of if they are stealthed or not (or even if they can stealth, i.e priests and paladins, sometimes)

i can't use prox to target them at this point, and even if i manually go and target them, prox wont update them to be targettable again, and its pretty annoying.

I am definately able to do /target their name, which i believe is what proximo itself does, so theres no issue preventing me from actually being able to target them, its a proximo thing. anyone know a solution?

Unit frames can not be changed during combat.
The three stars does not indicate stealth but they indicate that you can not target them using proximo. This often happens with rogues and druids since they often popup shortly after combat begins.

You will be able to target them if you leave combat and mouseover them.

Yes, since it is impossible to change stuff like unit frames during combat, no addon can ask what you request. ^^

Just have to live with it.

I thought proximo updated based on other partymember's targets alone. There are no blizz unitframes associated afaik, so theoretically I cannot see why it is not possible to update targets that started out stealthed.

Tho I am by no means an expert, but I've had the problem myself but not ever really cared about it since I'm only playing healer atm.

doesnt have to be blizzard frames, its any frame. This was changed to break mods like decursive and the emergency healing monitor mods that just about played the game for you.

Yes it sucks, but his name will show on Proximo so at least you know who he/she is. I just use MT Target or Player Targets to help out with that situation a bit, also using Name Plates helps greatly. If we are for some reason on the Rogue its easier to target him that way rather than mess with Proximo, at least for me.

please elaborate, is this a mod or just your way of saying you assist off your teammates ;P

well u can set up a frame mod like pitbull, aguf, or xperl, to have player targets

i use pitbull and have them set up, i like seeing exactly what my team mates are doing

Sorry for the late response. I use oRA2 Player targets. Shows the player, their target, and their targets; target. Its easier for me that way when Proximo isnt working.
