Ok so heres the deal.

I am a fury warrior that does arena with a pally form my guild just for fun. I took a break of sorts when bc came out, so right now I am behind as far as gear goes (Only a one or two raiding epics. The rest I pvped for or are blues). But now I am starting to raid some more.... And for me its not going to be acceptable to have such a bad arena team once I get the gear I need.

This brings me to my current problem. Three weeks form now I am going to get my 2h glady weapon and by then I should probably be geared out in epics from what is now Kara and GL and what I hope will be something a little bit better. My partner, however, really isn't that much into pvp. He has a total of 8.5k buffed hp (with my commanding shout on) and really only a few pieces of what could be considered pvp gear.

My other problem is that even once I go geared up I wouldn't have the resilence to really break into the top teams, and because this guys is at least dependable, I feel like I should really stick with him. but I need a team that makes it bearable to get my points. So my question is what tips and stragities can you give my pally (Or me too. We can all learn cant we?) to help us, at least for the time being, get our ratting up to such a point.

And yes I understand I have to be MS to be serious... But fury still seams good enough to be able to get even an ok arena ratting....

Yah my main problems are clearly healing teams that spam flash heals.... but for the time I have just admited that we arnt going to win those. So my other main problem teams I find are ones with high burst dps. Groups with mages tend to hurt because once I get a lil low on health the mage counterspells the pallys and then finishes me off.. The same problem accures with cyclone.

poor fury =(

the MS debuff is the best ability warriors have and the only way to beat teams with healers consistently =\

I concur. As much as it sucks to be pigeonholed into one build for pvp thats just the way it is. The powerful burst damage provided by 2h weapons and of course the infamous ms debuff are simply too powerful to ignore.

However you stated you understood that so.. getting back to your original question: can you be more specific? Are there matchups you are having trouble with? I guess some good general advice is to hamstring whatever can be kited, there is a lot of running around and long matches in 2's. Kill scorpoids. Hamstring warlock pets so your paladin can drink on maps other than blade's edge. Against soul link warlocks if you decide to attack the warlock pay attention to the pet health, and have the paladin drag it from the healer and kill it if it gets low, if you can do it once you can do it again. Dont be afraid to go defensive if things get rough, living is better than dying. Get itemrack so your shield comes on without fuss when you go defensive. Use pummel. Kill totems. Uh, make sure ms debuff is up at all times? Okay Im spent.

Hamstring your targets and have the paly save BoF for himself. There is nothing more beautiful than a paladin without BoF trying to heal himself... free win.
