Two quick questions.

1) Has there been any rumors or talk/announcements about when season 2 is expected to end?

2) What is this about lowering the amount of arena points you can carry over to the next season? And what is this cap going to be?

Will start with 2.3. (Should be soon.) I guess 2.3 will come 2-4 weeks after the next patch.

I don't think that they will lowering the cap of the arena points for S3. Too many players would get pissed .>

I would appreciate those changes. 5k is too much. 3k would be fair.

There's no way 2.3 will be out a month or less after 2.2. 2.3 has Zul'Aman, which will definitely need a significant amount of testing. I'd say 2.3 will be out at the end of October or early November.

Even 4 weeks after 2.2 is stretching it though. I suppose it depends on how polished ZA appears on the test realm initially, and if this whole voice comm fiasco is finished by this tuesday and works decently with the live realms that are getting it.

No way. Zul'aman will be on the PTRs for at least a month. Followed by more testing, it will be 2-3 months minimum after 2.2.

Blizzard's execution has been so poor lately that unfortunately that is not completely out of the question anymore. Thing is, 2.3 will bring about a host of balance changes as well as a new instance for the masses (read: no untuned, buggy encounters - most people don't put up with that crap). I really see no way for them to push that through in a short amount of time, unless their internal testing has all of a sudden shaped up a lot.

What was the shortest time between major patches (ie first digit after the decimal point changed) in this game anyway? Anyone remember offhand?

I'm guessing 7 weeks, +/-2. People already have full merciless, 3 weapons, offhand/libram/throwing wep, and 5000 pts saved. Another 2+ months would just be evil

I've heard a few times that Blizz is giving Gladiators this season mounts and riding skill. I highly doubt it, but can anyone confirm/disprove this?
