Me ( UA lock ) and my friend ( Spriest ) have both just started doing 2v2 arenas, and arenas in general pretty recently. Long story short, what is the best general method of dealing with Rogue/Paladin combos? Our typical strat is to load up full dots on the rogue and CoT/Fear the paladin and wait for the rogue to pop CLoS. After the CLoS goes down, we load the DoTs back up, and I generally go for a deathcoil into Mind Control combo on the rogue to get him ticking down. We try to keep the paladin cc'd with silences and fear before and after the silence, but the strat requires a lot of precision for us to pull off. The main problem we have is keeping the pressure off the rogues target, which is usually the priest.

Thanks for any and all feedback in advance, and if you need any other info for clarity please ask.

I've never seen a spriest/lock team sucessfully beat a rogue/paladin setup by going for the rogue, i wouldn't have thought it were even possible.

dot both up, dominate the paladin, *kill him*, death coil when he bubbles, if they go for the spriest (i personally find this going for the spriest a particularly strange tactic with a rogue), higher damage mitigation and lower loss of damage...

I played rogue/priest last season on my rogue alt and got to 2.2k, so I think I can offer some input on this but not as much as other people

You *should* try to DPS the rogue and CC the healer. Maybe not against a paladin, but fact is with a rogue slowing one of you, you are never going to be able to DPS down a priest or druid with a brain. Also with how easy paladins are to shut down (MD into silence+spell lock anyone?), if you can get the rogue to blow cloak fast you have a very good chance of dpsing him down. The 2 or 3 times we managed to lose to lock/spriest, it was when I died, not when my priest died.
