Serennia knows that DK's need some fine tuning (read: his blogs). Just that I don't think there is even a 'hard counter' at the moment with the state of arenas at the moment. Anyone can kill anything and vise versa.

I can come up with a solution, quit the game, because it's horrible. There's no chance this game will ever be balanced and fun again in an arena setting like it was in S2 (give or take a few small things). I think once Ulduar comes out it will easily override S5 gear for most people. If blizz doesn't keep up tier to season it will be just like S4 where sunwell gear was optimal.

I can honestly say that as soon as the PvE gear i have is higher item levels than my PvP gear....there won't be any question as to which i'll wear rofl.

Resilience should have a new tooltip imo.

Personally I have 902 resil atm. Instead of saying, reduces chance to be crit by 11% and reduces dmg of dots/manadrains/crits by 24%....it should read.....

"902 Resilience: You get shotted 24% slower."

mage vs mage duels have been trivialized since wotlk with rank 1 spells costing > max rank, more RNG procs, lolmage armor, dispell resistance, and 36 yard range on arcane instead of 30 (can no longer play the 36-30 yard kite range)...hardly a measure of skill as it was in TBC (I used to play a mage named Glitz)

Really a shame as lipstick and I dueling for hours was at times funner than arena

let me spell it out for you. as wpd vs sham/pal/war:

-you cant oom either healer because of water shield and paladin mana return for being healed
-the wpd has to basically dps 1 of 3 plate targets
-you have offensive purge so you can tunnel vision our priest very skillfully
-your team is immune to 2 out of 3 of our cc's
-you have about 3 emergency buttons and mana tide

Was waiting for that. Wasn't the lock as much as it was the hunter. Having 2 pets on a team both with pet killing macros is pretty rough. Considering if I drop fire resist to stop the hunter dmg I have to rely on the tremor totem to get rid of wyverin. And of course the lock has a macro for the tremor as the hunter does for poison cleanse. The fact that we even beat them multiple times is pathetic.

True but atleast he doesnt have a macro to kill fire resist totem. If you watched closely enough both pets could of raped me IRL thats how much they were humping my leg. Obviously SCK taught them how to only spam their totem killing ability all game like he did as WLD.

we were a little under 2300 our first day of playing, and after losing to some random RMP team three games in a row because the shaman thought he could solo a frost mage in a corner I pretty much told them I was never going to play with them again, thus lead to that warrior being kicked off of our 5s team as well (wasn't the only reason, but was my reason for refusing to play with him.)

That team was probably the worst experience I've ever had playing arena, and I'm glad they came to their senses and quit the game.

I know I normally deal with them fine but the way explosive shots dmg is I have to have fire resist down :( which means no poison cleanse so I rely on tremor. W/e though hopefully I keep playing with the people on the double healer I was on they are both very very good. Not saying that the war and lock werent good but the comp is obviously an uphill fight.

armory hunters you go in series with, if they're socketing pen theres pretty much no point in using fire res totem.. at most you'll mitigate around 150-200 dmg per explosion, while it's not a completely worthless amount of mitigation after all 3 explosions, it's not worth dropping fire res over pct.
