Me and my priest are having issues versus this specific setup, and my battlegroup is small, small enough that this setup that im having issues against is the same team each time.
Tauren Shaman and Orc Warrior.

I would like to know complete range of strategies versus these guys. Shaman is resto. I think me and my partner might just need more resi/stam each, because my priest buddy even with pain suppression goes down quick, usually quicker than i can drain mana. One note im usually able to catch CoEx before his charge.

Have him spec blessed resilience if he doesn't want to play shadow. Other than that I do not see you winning this matchup as non shadow. You have an advantage over other healer/lock teams though so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

He's going to have to be holy (pain suppression isn't going to help), you'll need full gladiator gear, and you'll have to outlast them. I used to run warrior/resto shaman and we usually beat holy priest/warlock, except there were a few exceptions, one in particular was a team named V A S H on Shadowburn, I think they're top 10 now. What they would do is have the warlock (SL of course) rush and DoT up the warrior and put CoE on, the priest would then just run around to avoid the warrior until they had to dismount to heal the warlock. If the warrior then goes for the priest, keep mana draining the shaman, if he stays on you, then you probably win. If you can keep the shaman away from the priest, you can avoid the dreaded purge spam, and the priest should be able to last long enough against a warrior for the shaman to be drained down, then just try to kill the warrior at that point (even throw a SWP on him).

IMO you can run ShadowPriest/Warlock vs Shaman/Warrior.

You just have to be pro w/ interrupts. You go balls to the walls on the warrior, then DC - Spell lock - Silence the shaman. If you don't kill the warrior before the silence is off, your done. It's hard to do but if you work on the timing not impossible.

nice semi-necro but i appreciate the advice. Fortunatly on our small battlegroup i think the shammy/war 2v2 has rocketed up to the 2300's, so we will only see them again when we make our gladiator push.
That will be the plan, and hopefully next time i meet him ill be able to do more dmg what with merc. spellblade & a respect to pick up emp. corr & 1/5 SM.
I might consider making my priest MC the shammy off the bridge, or see if i can make the shammy run.

Funnily enough the other i was chasing a paladin around BEA with rank 1 corr & sl then drain mana to CoEx, and we did about 6 circuits when i said to my priest "power enfuse me", "urr okay" and i just stopped dotted the warrior and searing pain spammed the warrior and his paladin friend just ran off and left him to die. Easy 24 points.
