Frost (the RNG spec)

has anyone else noticed that frost is extremely dependent on RNG? Sometimes I will get a ton of killing machine and rime procs in a row and put out incredibly burst. But if the rime and killing machine procs don't happen the damage is pretty lackluster. I guess you might say frost is the warrior spec :P

i guess it would rly depend on killing machine procs to really shine. frost's power lies in control and burst (aka rng) and killing machine is a big part of their burst dmg.

i have yet to be able to play a DK to steam keep me updated w/ anything you find out.

Frost is the bursty spec, so of course it's going to feel more RNGish. The damage isn't lackluster unless frost fever is constantly getting dispelled and you don't line up your skills correctly.

Plus, frost's biggest asset is hungering cold, not anything damage related.

We also get frost strike for evasioned rogues and warriors who use shield block.
