[3v3] Priest(holy)/hunter/? [Archive]

Whats a good class combo in 3v3 that involves a priest\hunter\?. My warrior\lock\priest team is in 2k ratings but we tend to do badly with warlock\hunter\priest, we haven't tried warrior\priest\hunter.
I'd like to know if another class would be viable to play with a hunter since I don't want to leave this hunter in the dust forcing to get points from 2s. The warlock is specced soul link and the hunter is marks. If the specs are an issue let me know as well.

Hunter + warrior + druid seems to work for me, but then again we're not playing anywhere near hardcore.. just the games I did play turned out quite well imo (we were testing a druid's skills to possibly join my 5v5).

I would say ice mage or lock. I personally think lock fits best because then you have 3 mana drains. Pretty OP...

We got owned by Hunter/Priest/Mage.

Granted, the hunter was Hamchook.

Interesting that your Hunter, Lock, Priest setup didn't work very well. I would have actually expected it to work better then our Hunter, Warlock, Shaman group considering hunters and warlock really down't benefit much from stuff such as windfury and heroism. Thats not to mention that when we created our 3v3, we had a warlock in not even lv 70 blues. We had to very quickly get him to craft up some tailoring BoPs, and arena gear him up quick.

Our Setup:
Afflict/Demon SL Lock
BM Hunter (me)
Resto Shaman

Where we did not do well against:
MS Warrior
Lock (Any)
Pally

Basically, we can't beat a MS warr + lock team since a shaman can't heal with CoT and MS. No dispels = lose.

I found being BM highly favorable over MM in my 3s setup. If you have him go BM and plan to compete in higher rating arenas, make sure he specs a BM spec that doesn't waste 15 points into pet buffing. The cookie cutter BM spec on the blizzard forums just doesn't cut it at higher ratings.

Acting as if your pet is critting on 400 resilience, and turning on buffs such as Frenzy and Furious Inspiration is kidding nobody but yourself.
