Hey guys, I was bored the other day so I went on the armory and counted all the inactive teams I could find from 1 to 189. I found ~40 inactive teams from that.

This will all change as we get closer to the day however it stays roughly the same. So that being said, means that you add 40 to 189 to get 229. Now from 189 to 229 there are 11 inactive teams so you add 11 to 229 again to get 240 as it would appear on the armory.

Look that up on the armory and this means the cut off is somewhere around ~2075.

If anyone thinks my math is wrong please say so but from it looks right from my perspective. Im hoping this will give you guys a better idea of how high you will need to be in order to get gladiator. Good luck!

Lol. I think the cut off on tuesday will be at 2100ish maximum, gotta rememeber that it goes up by about 3-8 per day.

i think in 3.0 shoulder PR req is being lowered to 2k while weapon to 1850. soo yeah, anyone getting glad can buy shouldrs in 3.0 and pretend they got them...

I would count all the inactives from 2130+ imo rather than all of them according to rank. Also, armory isn't necessarily updated.

Yeah I think what I said is quite accurate as long as the in game rank of the lowest team is right (which it has been), I predict 2100 or maybe 2110 is going to be the cut off.

I think the PTR changes to make season 4 shoulders available at 2k is just a bug, Either that or its when people will be level 80. They have repeatedly said that they will not lower the reqs on s4 gear :confused:.

You are pretty much spot on, 42 inactives by my count(in the top 189). The current cutoff atm is 2078.

Got an update, theres ~42 inactive teams now so the cut off is about ~2085.

It can go up by 20 in one day- especially when it's sunday (everyone's day off) and monday, the VERY last day to play.

Yeah it could, last season it went up a lot in the last 3 days I think. Saturday night it went up by 10 it looks like.

Probably, but you never know. Most of the time Monday before season ends all the brackets have ridiculous queue times because of low ranked players pushing for Rival/Duelist or whatever, so the ratings don't change as much as on the weekends. Then again, Blizz has substantially increased server capacity, so we could very well see a large increase tomorrow.

the cut off is 240 right? on the armory right now the 240th team is 2082, so i think 2134 will be more then enough, altho 2105 is cutting it abit close =( 1 day to go!

so in the last 2 days or so ive been up and down about quing or not, we are still 2122 and dont know if its enough to get glad or not.

i keep telling myself that since there are 42 inactives that 2122 should be enough but id like some other opinion to either push me over the edge to q or to sit here and hope it works lol

Your fine Cillie, I came up with 37 inactive teams, so that puts the rating at 2103 atm. By the end of the night i'd expect 2110-2120

Nobody knows for sure but if the calcs are right then you should be ok. Check out the post I just did http://www.arenajunkies.com/showthread.php?t=46388 which shows potential safety limit.
