2 Mage questions :)

I see people using +40 damage over soulfrost. Why is this?
Also what mod if any do you guys use to decurse.

So I can play around with fire every now and then. The majority of my damage may come from frost but I do use fire and arcane at times.

Because that way damage also adds to fireblast, arcane missiles, arcane explosion, and scorch.

They've pretty much hit the head on the nail on this one. Also some of us PvE as well and change specs but still use the same weapon.

You could always get good ole decursive, or just use a mouseover macro like the one located here: http://www.arenajunkies.com/macros/mage/
