3v3 Emberstorm cutoff

My warrior's 3v3 team sits at 2049.


We're currently 27th and have about 6-7 inactive teams in front of us. Wasn't the title calculator totally off last season? Is it accounted for this season?

AJ says top 28 teams are getting gladiator.

What do you guys think?

I'm pretty sure the calculator was totally off due to a Blizzard fuck up rather than anything Aj did wrong. This assumtion is based on the fact the Season 3 HOF is still not up and not going to go up, since there have been reports that in some BGs, 2100 rated teams were getting Glad, while some higher rated ones weren't.

Comparing the S2 calculator to S2 HOF would give a better estimate imo.

I remember last season people getting glad at 2100 (also take into account not as much win trading to inflate ratings like crazy as in s1 and s2).


This season is ridiculously short though so all of the ratings are deflated.

As for the S2 HOF compared with calculator it was pretty much dead on, minus a team or 2.


How did AJ take into account the # of inactive teams btw? Because I'm hoping in the near future those inactive teams are removed from the armory list so I can see our teams real ranking.

Current update of my situation....hope this helps your cause further.

I found someone on my server who had the previous lowest rating on AJ. His armory seen here:

3v3 rating 1181:

However, AJ has an even lower ranking team now:

3v3 rating 1021

The 1021 team is shown on the armory as 5795.

However, this week now I spoke to the person with the 1181 team and his IN GAME ranking was 5914. Last week it was 5400 or something or 5200 in game I can't remember.

So as for an in game ranking, I have a feeling that the 1021 rating is probably over 6,000 now.

So by your theory am I right to assume that the bubble has slightly increased by about 1 team or so?

Edit: My warrior's team was updated to 22nd today, previously it was 37th in game (But on armory it was 27th).

I have a feeling that the calculations are only accurate directly after a reset and not later in the week because it doesn't change.

Another note: I counted roughly 10-11 teams in front of me in the armory as inactive. I'm ranked 27th in the armory and I should be 16th/17th in game right? Or maybe armory just isn't showing us something.
