JC, to see if this will manage to get gladiator. We played out 2200 game today which ended up being extremely close, but lost...With our current rating we are rank ~110. The title calculator says ~182 will be the cutoff.

I would go for 2200, but I don't wanna be the guy who got facepalmed down to 1900s by countercomps and lost his already acquired Glad rating. Also with the number of teams I imagine that will not qualify (inactive) which ive counted many, I can't imagine we wouldnt make it. any help would be welcome. thnx

Last 2 weeks anything can happen. Know that the competition is going to be tougher if you play in those two weeks and expect a 10-20 ranking loss on the final day, not to mention the toughest teams.

It could get it but to be sure I'd bet around 2225 because of the amount of teams that stop at 2200. On another note i had the rating but wasn't sure and ended up tanking from 2230 to 1900. So it all depends on how many spots your going down by each day.

Squirrelys, right now lowest team getting glad on cyclone in 2s is ~2080, and with the amount of teams that are probably inactive at 2200ish, the glad cutoff will be extremely low this season, even towards the end.

btw ggs the other day in 2s, and a hint vs. shaman warr: dont even bother splitting, just spam damage onto the warrior. maybe have the rogue get onto the shaman when the warrior is sub 30%.

man I cant believe our 2200 game we lost. we were at 2192, and we faced druid+war...our easiest comp. everything goes perfect, druid trinkets and BLIND. Well now the Druid is sitting in the blind and the war is at 10% hp. My rogue partner will always sap here, right when he trys to sap...booom intervene...ok np np. I recast VT and boom pummel. So my extra fear, and my silence are both ready, but im in a pummel silence...and we lose.. if i would of silenced instead of going for the sap we woulda won. its killing me. its all i think about. and we played all of today never getting to that game again, just maintaining in the lower 2100s. pretty fail imo. im pissed. and to finish the night off, a 22 pnt loss and we log below 2100.. :/

Hi Squierrelys. 2200 is guaranteed virtually because there's probably 40-50 inactive teams out of the top 182(Glad cutoff). Last I checked the rating cutoff was 2075ish(not including inactive teams so it is even lower than that atm), there's about 9 days left in the season and I'm going to predict anyone over 2100 will get it this season in 2s.

Yea, and now all we seem to face is Druid+Lock... I'd say by far one of our hardest comps. Rawr... I guess all the Druid+Wars have already gotten 2200...We played again last night around 12 midnight, and I guess no1 was queing in the 2100s, because all of our wins were ~8 pnts and boom 20+pnt losses. Idk what to do ;/ /cry

That was us :) We've had the same thing happening to us, been 2170 a ton, but keep getting caught by druid hunter or teams like yours and can't manage to ever get above it.

You have no idea how much I hate you. If I only would of silenced your druid...That's all I can think about. I didnt know the sap would fail...Rawr. And now our rating has dropped so far since then. Today we fell all the way to mid-1800s... and we only managed to get it back up to 2090 before ending at 1990 after 130 games. I hate this game...So much.

SOOOOOOO. After almost 150 games played tonight, we finally managed to break 2100, to achieve 2104. Right now, with this rating, we are 173rd in the battlegroup, out of what apparently the estimated cutoff for this BG is the top 187 teams. And from what I've read the cutoff could be more teams by a lot of people's expectations. God forbid be it lower!

So obviously it looks like we are on or very close to the cusp. I went through the top 187 teams to count 47 inactive teams. Teams that either had toons with 1500 PR, 150 less PR than the team's rating, or with no visible members at all on the team. SO please tell me if my math is correct...

If things stay the way they are, we are 14 teams below/above the estimated cutoff, (we are 174th, cutoff=187 atm)and with the inactive teams added into that, there would be 61 teams below us that would be eligible for glad. 61 teams below us is ~2070... Please inform me of any mistakes in my calculations/assumptions. I would rather risk it with this rating then experience the extremely stressful counter-comp facepalm that brought us to our knees to a game away from upper 1700s... For example...we played 150 games today, we have a total of 1300 games this season. It took so much trial and error, and learning that I feel like we've earned this, unlike all the Druid+x teams, UD WotF teams that fuck us over, and rogues that for months I had no idea how to counter. And it turns out you cant, you just either lose the game or CC them better than they CC your team(which is hard seeing how they are all UD practically). Anyways, any advice as always would be extremely welcome. If what I say is correct, I really really doubt 61 teams will edge above us. And I can say that from personal experience not fighting any team ever above us. We finally achieved 2100 with a 14,13,12,11,10,9,8 pnt wins vs 1 druid+war team. There was no other way of doin it. meh, its our fault for not beating you guys. if only i had noticed the intervene and would of silenced you instead of going for the failed sap. anywayssssss. How do my chances look? If there really are the top 187 teams being taken, and there as many inactive teams teams as I counted we should be in the clear. ~47 inactive teams. Even if it's close I think I'm gonna risk it. I cant take any more losses/possible counter comp/WotF facepalms.

A guy on my server brought up a real good point I'd like to address. He said if 33% of the teams above me are inactive, theres a good chance that 33% of ALL the teams on my BG(36,000) are inactive, thus lowering the amount of eligible teams all together. He said that might make the expected cutoff be something like the top 130 teams instead of what AJ says for our BG is the top 187 teams. Is this true?

The ladder is still off, if you just reformed then chances are you are above your place in true ranking (Game ranking is true ranking and updates every tuesday).

When will one know if the qualified or not. I know its a week till titles and mounts are awarded, but is it as simple as better rating than expected cutoff on tuesday=title, 188th> no rating.
