A) Stop posting the facepalm thingie.

B) Gladiator got easy because its a short season and more importantly....

Tons and tons of teams have been Rerolling their 2300 teams back down to 1500. That means all those player that were really at the 2300 bracket aren't really playing there.


What this means is that these players, the 2300 ones, are playing tons of players that are in the lower brackets. And you can imagine what a 2300 team does to the sub 2000 people. Thats right, beat them over and over.

But they aren't on a 2300, and on a equal leveled team.

Rating disappears when people on 1500+ teams reroll their teams and rating appears when people on 1500- teams reroll their teams. And we have a TON of 1500+ people reroll their teams, mainly the top teams.

I really don't know why everyone keeps saying the glads rating is getting easier, I mean sure last season was a little O_o due to INSANELY long time it had to build up a large base of arena teams but this + season 1 and 2 are generally about the same numbers wise.

Sounds like Guild Wars players to me. Mana heavy pressure teams. Too bad regen doesn't work the same way in this game as that one, but even still, sounds funny as hell. run out, throw 3 poms, renew stack and burn the fuck out of everyone!

Back to hunter and 4 healers:
I actually did run it first week of S4, we went 17-1 in stats or something.
Hunter: proper damage spec & some PvE pieces
2xPriests: General priest PvP gear, 1 of them had earring for crazy innervates.
Paladin: Heavy PvE gear, never got focused anyway.
Druid: DS spec, basically did 3x lifebloom, abolish, cyclones and a bit of DPS.

Double PI manaburning is crazy, as is the frost trap + BoF combo, especially vs triple melee teams. And you dont really lose to all those new JAC setups with 4 healers. We had a loss to eurocomp, where we couldnt properly end the game mana-wise, and we got out-cc'd.

How about this logic: if I traveled back in time to S1 with the knowledge I have in s3, getting glad in S1 would be SOOOOO EASY when no one knew strange tactics and compositions. In S2 my warrior got to 1850 status (shaman/warrior) in a few weeks with blues because everyone sucked, gear wasn't important, player pool was so small and bad and 1850 you could faceroll.

People are just making a big deal out of the large number of players who are going to get gladiator which hurts their e-peen because they're no longer special. Let's get one thing straight though, the large number increase was probably due to the large influx of players who didnt used to arena so they now go in just to try and get gear and many of them are bad.

Shit like mace stuns isn't too bad, unless I'm in caster. Otherwise, it isn't too bad.

silence's aren't nearly as horrible, unless I'm a retard and get a cyclone or some such kicked.

Overall, I don't find playing a druid nearly as frustrating as playing a paladin, except for the overly long 2v2 matches I get in sometimes.

Don't get so defensive, the point was brought up. I got past 2100 easily on a RP server that has had a total of 3 gladiator's on alliance throughout BC, so I'd say I was in a state comparable to yours.

Of course I'm getting defensive, I don't necessarily appreciate somebody that I don't even know calling me bad. Just because you were in a state comparable to mine doesn't mean that you were in the SAME state that I'm in. You may have been playing with someone far better than the people I am playing with currently. I transferred back to this server not focusing on Gladiator, hoping for it to take care of itself, and here we are close to the end of the season already and I'm not even close. It's not my focus, nor will it be again until Wrath.

When did you play with him? And were you in Whirlwind? The skill level has gone up alot since S2/S3 and a bad BG might be helpful (I know I got Glad in Whirlwind, I'm not trying to call you out on that).
