Started this setup today and got to 1600 easy. Considering all the pretty solid teams still playing at this rating (almost every team we faced where in full s2 + some s3) and the inexperience from our side, I think we had a good first day.
The basic tactic we used was taking out any pets on the field and nuke the priest in pretty much any case, whether he was disci or shadow. The burst with windfury and heroism is huge and surprised me quite a bit.
Then we faced rogue + SL lock + disci priest and we lost 3 times in a row which pretty much revealed our weakness; the warrior was stunned / lost controll of his char almost the entire trip from 100% -> 0% while the lock kept interrupting our sham.
So I'm asking to whichever paladin that dwells these forums with a likewise setup what your experiences are with this. Is the warrior being put out of combat the biggest weakness ? How do you overcome this ?
Any other tacts / pointers you'd recomend ? Atm I see us get to 1900 ish but I'd really like to get higher ratings with this team so any info is appreciated.
Also, I noticed I was rarely targetted. They allways went for the shammy or the warrior, should I get more DPS trinkets / gems / enchants and lay low on the HP / resilience ?
1 more thing I can't figure out; is this an outlasting setup or a DPS'ing setup ? Cus this far all our games where finished pretty fast by the heroism / winfury nukage (chaincritting for 1,5k rules ;D), yet I can immagine that alot of games will drag out alot causing for mana troubles for both me and the shaman...
