Apparently it's going from 125% weapon damage to 110% (on 2.3.2 ptr atm), and yes shadowstep is getting buffed...it now gives 1 combo point...lol..

That's not a buff, it's a big fat nerf. One of the best pro uses of shadowstep is for interrupting healers all ninja-style. Most healers won't expect the rogue to teleport over to them just for a kick so they'll try and bust out their mega heals, leaving themselves open to be interrupted and spell-locked.

Now if you ShS over to the healer for an interrupt (or to the other rogue kicking the shit out of your teammate, etc) you lose all of the combo points on your current target.

Heh, just because AR/Prep gave rogues a spot in every bracket doesn't mean it needed to be nerfed.. sigh

I tried it out on the PTR, maybe i'm just not very good at it but besides a funny teleporting trick and some nice burst every 30 seconds, it really lacks what I need in a 2dps build, especially against healer+dps teams

I hate how rogues fail to realize they basically made warriors obsolete because of this recent patch. The only way for a warrior to compete with the utility of rogues is to bring in a shaman to drop windfury so their damage will be ridiculous. Beyond that warrior's were basically laughed at... or that was the story in my battle group.

They're buffing mages though so... long live the perfect 3v3 combo... RMP!

They eventually fixed it, but I lost my faith in the GMs.
