I'm SL/SL of course, but didn't add that to the title due to the multiple /'s.
Went up against 3 of these teams in a row tonight. In duels and shit it's easy to 1v1 them but as soon as you give that ar/prep rogue a healer there just isn't jack shit I can seem to do once I've blown my round of cooldowns.
The first match you could tell the team was new to the comp due to the rogue getting on my priest. We quickly got the upper hand, but as soon as his teammate (or him) figured out it would be better to just focus on me the match went to shit. Between the double vanish and sprint, kiting doesn't seem like a reliable option and I sure as hell wasn't out dpsing him.
Currently what I'm doing is keeping dots on the rogue and trying to keep them on the priest in between trying to keep myself alive. Due to the longevity of the fight I blow my trinket early to allow it to be up again (same with escape artist). As far as pets go, I of course start with the felpuppy, but with the priests being disc (as most are) he just PI's and smites it twice and chances are it's dead.
What am I missing? Or is priest/rogue just too strong of a counter comp and the only way I can really expect a win is if they fuck up somehow?
This is my first season running 2v2 with a healer (ran with a mage in 1 and 2), so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
