This one is for you cascade since I know you are bored as hell at work and reading everything here.
I constantly have disagreements with my 5v5 team on targeting. Running Shaman, Warrior, Hunter, Paladin, Priest - we have a nice mix of burst dps and healing, but a little weak on the control. The debate between the first target vs. rotating targets is always up in there air (with split dps not being a good option with only 1 ms to go around).
So there is the background, the debate is between the first target. Against the usual "2345" flavor of the month, we would usually go after the priest due to our offensive dispelling ability. However, when we go up against crowd control teams (warlock, rogue, mage, priest, pally) for example, we have a habit of going after the priest. As a paladin, this makes me sad because I am healing through wound poison with a lock and mage running free.
Maybe I am wrong, and I would like some outside opinions on this, because if it were up to me, soul link or not I would target a warlock first just about every game outside of maybe throwing some split dps on a resto druid. Mages I feel the same about with sligly less hatred.
P.S. Dropping que 1 minute into a 5 minute que and taking a 30 point loss? WTF blizzard?
