The popups annoy the shit out of me and give me very little satisfaction knowing that gold sellers are getting banned.

Mostly because as of now, I don't see what we would possibly spend so much gold on that people would be buying gold. Like the mount and the renown class set and that seems to be it?

Can the messages be placed in the fuckin chatbox instead of over my character in the middle of the screen where I have to click OK to get rid of it while i'm trying to PvP and shit?

Dont really see an economy in WAR since you dont really need gold for stuff, plus that it's shit easy to get it (scavenging helloz?). Gold farming will definitely fail unless they put in some super expensive easter egg stuff or something that's awesome.

Since you cant sell your pots since 50% of the server pop (guessing) will be apothecary and the other 50% will be talisman makers.
Cant sell pots for a respectable price, everyone makes them, can't really sell talismans unless you're super lucky and get a real good one.
Cultivating? No way to profit (unless lucky procc) here since any apothecary ppl already has it. And the butcherers/scavengers will sell all their shit (unless lucky) for almost vendor prices.
I'm bad at economics, so don't bash =(

it will most likely be a barter system, if nothing is worthwhile to spend gold on then if you get something good you'll end up just having to trade it for something else (at max level)

Since most items are BoE, this barter system seems logical. However I'm sure gold will still play a role in the economics.

However my guild doesn't even have a tax right now because there's nothing to spend gold on besides rams (cheap) and guild flags.

Good. The fact that gold ever played a part in WoW was stupid. It spurred gold farming and forced me to grind it half the time, especially prebc, just to repair.
