View Full Version : Question about resilience on a paladin.

Since I've been engaging in Arena combat I always thought getting my resilience rating up was the N1 priority. Currently I've stacked up 363 resilience (http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Haomarush&n=Vander) and I'm around 1350 healing with the usual 41/20 arena spec. Now my question to any gladiator is:
'Is resilience really that important on a paladin in x's ?'

My impression in 2v2:
My team consists of a warrior and me, and usually floats around the 1850 mark.
I've noticed resilience is usefull here but I feel like dropping some in exchange for more healing, since my warrior mate usually gets all the dmg against 2dps teams.

In 3v3 and 5v5:
I get barely attacked at all, I think I'd be better of in full PvE gear with healing maxed and 0 resilience...

What do you PvP guru's think about this ?

With my 2300 3's, all I wear is PvE Plate. You know, Boots of Valiance, shit like that, with PvP Trinkets. I never get targeted, and when I do get targeted, I can bubble and they'll be down another player by the time I get out. The only time I'll ever throw my 5/5 S1 Glad suit on is if I'm facing teams that try to burst me down regularly.

Other than that, I queue with 1820 Healing, 21% Crit, 36 Resilience, 98 mp5, 8.5k Health, 10k Mana, with Scrolls of Blinding Light and my PvP Trinket.
