I play a Demo Lock with felguard. My pally is 41/20/0 with imp. concentration. We don't have very good gear but still find a way to win alot of games. Our rating is floating in 1850 / 1930.

Druid/lock, disc priest/lock and all those combo built around drain mana just fuck us up.

My paly is trying to LoS as much as possible bu as soon as the dots start stacking up and those fear comes in, he have to show up to try to dispel me. What happen is i can't DPS one down before my pally goes oom. Either i'm feared and do nothing while he run around a pillar or he try to dispel me so i can do some dps.

Gear is an issue considdering that my spell get resisted alot but is there anyway we could counter that strategy by making them go more defensive or something.

What i don't understand is how can we survive very well geared DPS with my pally 9k health and not be able to do shit about those mana burning team.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

For Mana Burn Happy teams as a Paladin all I do is LoS. If my Partner gets feared with a bunch of DoTs on him, and he's slowly ticking away, I'll pop out and Holy Light him, and get my ass right back to out of LoS. A fight like that relies on him to be a good judge of LoS, and for you to be a truck and get one of them down before he's oom.

Been playing felguard on my lock recently (Enae if you want to armory) and I would think the best strat for this would be to focus your dps/mana drains/pet on the priest. Keep him in combat with your pet and mana drain when you can.

However don't forget to help your pali out. Constantly fear and CoT their lock to keep him off your pali. Its also important in these matches that every little thing counts. People get too focused in on their target. If the priest is out of los and you're trying to get to him, throw dots on the lock and/or his pet while moving, don't get tunnel vision! Also remember the power of the felguard in the "pillar hugging game." Not only is it the only pet doing significant damage while someone is pole dancing, but with proper micro you can use the intercept stun to get time for a fear to get them off the pillars.

Should consider getting a hybrid build for CoEX to help your healer out in kiting. CoT doesn't do too much against a lock just dotting and draining mana.
