this season ive been focussing mostly on 3v3,
been playing rogue /lock/druid and mostly holydisc priest rogue druid
so ive ofc been 19/42 maces..
havent rly played much 5v5 since we used 5v5 to give friends points :P
but in s3 we will focus more on 5v5 and will be playing something like
rogue
druid
lock
ele sham
frostmage
and im wondering if i should be 0/31/30 or go for daggers and roll muti

You're better off with mutilate for 5v5 4 dps, gives you better burst yourself, and it's easier to build and keep poisons up, there's also imp ks for gib.
0/31/30 maces isn't that bad for 5v5 either, more control on focused target with mace stuns so it's harder to los/kite you, more/shorter cds so you last longer.

As much as AR/Prep is powerful in smaller brackets, theres nothing better for 4DPS teams than Muti. Mace stuns are nice ofc, but keeping 5 stacks up is a pain. And with at least 2 CCers on other team, more often than not you will have your AR ticking while chilling in sheep or cyclone.
And +9% from imp.KS is godly when it lands.

I have found it kind of dapends. If there is a druid on the apposing team it can be hard to keep poisons up becuase of how lame their abolish is but mutilate does have more controlled burst. The double cd's / ap from prep / ar will help ur dmg when its more drawn out imo and improve ur survivability by a reasonable margin.
