Hello priests
I've started getting used to the new discipline spec by now apart from aforementioned spell, power infusion. It feels kinda awkward and I have no idea when to use it, it just doesn't feel natural. Yet(hopefully).
So I just wondered if any of you feel like sharing when you use it.
So far I've figured it's kinda good to add on some dps classes burst (mage/lock popping trinkets). But there's not allways one of those around.
Any thoughts are welcome as I feel like I'm wasting resources.
Thanks
You need to be more specific - using it on yourself to heal better? Using it on a partner?

I usually forget to use it, or use it when my mage/warlock is Ccing
I'm terrible with pi :(

Plan when to use it, have someone call out, macro it so you target them cast pi then go back, easy. If none are around use it on yourself.

Calling it out for burst is nice. If you don't have someone like that, you can PI yourself and make great utility of it. I run with a rogue, and depending on our team, I will sometimes even PI my shadowfiend.
Some people think im kinda dumb for doin this, yet in certain situations it really helps, you really have to know when. Also, with the new changes, PIing yourself makes your shield stronger, so check things like that before you use it. Mine jumps from about 1950 absorption to 2400. Use PoM, renews, and maybe a dot or two if you can spare the mana.
As for when? it's really dependent if you have no caster dps, you have to learn when its best for you.

Does PI'ing the pet return more mana?

from my 2vs2 and 3vs3 perspective: against every team with a warrior or a rogue i need to use it on myself to stay alive; with all the rest of teams i usually give it my lock in 2vs2 when one of the opossing team members is oom to help burn them down quicker, and in 3vs3 i give it my moonkin after the hunter manages to put an aimed shot on the target beeing focused. but in general you cant plan exactly when and who to give it, it depends a lot on the situation and on your and your opossing team setup... just never forget to use it, you shouldnt finish any arena fight with one or more of your abilities not in cd.

Does PI'ing the pet return more mana?
Yes since the pet is based on dmg, it does return 20% more. I used it while leveling, it was great. I now use it sometimes in 2s.

Ele shaman is usually the best class to PI. Keep in mind he's also the easiest dps caster to shut down. Be intelligent with PI and don't use it when your target is getting pwnt.

I keep screwing it up, I always get too excited and Innerfocus, PI, devouring plague. Yeah that's not good for mana =(

hah, no it's not. If you use it in the same combo, I would make a macro for dev plague. That way it always goes in an order and you can't mess it up.

have your mage or whoever call out for PI (usually while their healer is sitting through a full CS/sheep)
