I got my 2v2 rating with Shadow Priest + Hunter, but we had an advantage in the form of higher damage mitigation (Shields + Vampiric Embrace heals) and better anti-Druid CC (Psychic Scream > Polymorph, at least for that), so I imagine the Hunter would absolutely have to be Survival for Wyvern Sting or Beast Mastery for The Beast Within, and the Mage would probably do better as Fire for mobility while under attack or Arcane for extra burst to compensate for worse CC.

Or, to say it more plainly, don't go Marks/Frost.
