Which class will you be?

title says it all..tryin to decide for myself, if i play WAR, which class ill be. i loved friar in DAoC and any class that has a very high skill cap.

any advise?

warrior priest does seem pretty sick...kinda like daoc friar and wow feral/resto hybrid druid

That's another class I was looking at, but with them only being female, I was kinda straying away from it. Not that I have anything against females, I just hate playing a female character. The Dark Elves definitely are the race I wanna play, so I might get to be a woman! Woo, masturbation while playing.....

swordmaster and the orc tank use a sorta stance system. some abilities require stance x, y, z and others put you into a stance. you can't just change them when you want.

basically you use your normal all the time abilities, those open up a second tier of abilities after using them once. once you use one of the new available abilities it opens up a new set of abilities, and once you use one of those it puts you back to the beginning core spells.

as you go along each the abilities get more powerful, but some of the massively critiques say it's pretty straightforward and easy.

swordmaster are also primarily 2h (great sword) tanks/offtanks with aoe threat but they have a shield path.



ironbreaker have a sorta rage system.. every time you get hit you generate 5 grudge. you also have an ability where you "shield" a partner and you can give them buffs to defense and every time the linked player gets hit you generate grudge. then all of your abilities get more powerful the more grudge you have.


i don't know much about the chaos classes so that's mostly order. all tanks also have a taunt with a neat pvp mechanic. if you taunt an enemy player it interrupts any spells they are building (casting) and it makes you do 30% increased damage to them until they hit you 3 times. so basically you can taunt someone and if they don't hit you 3 times you can do some good damage to them to make them pay for it.

there's also collision detection, but i dunno how effective it will be for blocking somebody who has decent character control.

I'm going to try and make a DPS/debuffer type of Zealot. Does anyone know if it's possible? Otherwise I'm lost. The squig herder seems alright but I hear the pets aren't anything more than an annoyance. Nothing else really appeals to me :(

some of the squigs i had to deal with in the first scenario were a complete bitch. they'll probably be very useful once they fix pet pathing/responsiveness.
