Post 2.3 we have dropped nearly 200 points in our rating...granted I have the overpowered rogue with me and the bonus dmg, other teams seem to have become stronger. Our first problem is any team with a hunter, whether the pally hunter, priest hunter or druid hunter. We have having huge problems killing due to frost traps and kiting from the hunter or his partner, while my rogue just walks in circles and I have the 1.0 speed pet ruining my bar. Any suggestions on these teams is appreciated.
Also, other teams with rogues are becoming troublesome. Such as the warlock rogue. We cannot kill the rogue while sheeping the lock, due to a good lock can lock me down very easy if left uncontrolled. Also, we go for the lock since even if my rogue dies and so does the lock, I still have a chance against the rogue 1v1. Pre 2.3 this was a fairly easy combo for us.
So I am just looking for suggestions against those teams and wondering if anyone else feels that mage / rogue is actually worse off since 2.3 because other rogues have become stronger relatively with their partners and hunters being very difficult in arenas.

I feel hunter teams are really just coming into their own and will be all over the top of the ladder next season. Part of it is their 2.3 buffs, but mostly it's just because people are finally learning what to do with a hunter in small arena play.
I also have very little clue what to do against them yet. Need more experience.

You kinda.. mess with your own post there, first you say they are learning how to do it... and then you'r sayin you dont have any experience against them yet, and that is exactly the point! They are playin alot more games then us (all of them) and we only meet them once in a while... so they'll get to their 'top-level' and we'll learn how to fight them... they will be a new competive class, but I doubt they'll be swarming the top rated, they'll just become more common like mages/rogues/hunters (:p)/shamans

We went up a lot because of the extra damage in both our builds, I dunno.
Anyway, mages get a nice buff soon, should help you guys out =)

Hunters were alwys good before you just only saw a handful of them bc most hunters don't know how to play their own class. With the buff, the good hunters are still "good" and the bad hunters are at best "ok".
For the most part if you have a pally on your team the hunter stands no chance of doing anything worth while (5's is a different story). Or if you can kill one of his memebers before you go OOM it's also GG for a hunter. They still have their problems, but it really just comes down to team set when you play against a hunter imo. A good hunter can't be game changing unless the class set up works for his advantage.

You can't deadzone the hunter and then kill the druid anymore ~
We beat them by maintaining heavy CC on the hunter while killing the druid; however, we had a hard time with dwarf hunters, which were blind immune.

QFT this will be a little better with the new glove bonus. back when I used to play 2s we usually played the LOS game and tried to drop the pet if possible.

Yep, gloves are probably going to be first piece I buy, just for dealing with that combo.
